I'm done with gathering around to drink and ******** clubs, also for this reason.
Alcohol is so boring.
I've never liked tobacco anyway.
Drunk people are annoying.
I can't smoke weed so there's no point in me being around pot smokers.
There's no true depth to these gatherings.
Yeah it's fun to socialize but what's the point when the next day i bring something up to the person (even if it was a momentarily deep moment) they don't remember it. I generally never forget things.
It's cool that i saw the ending to Ong Bak again. Great movie.
I don't feel it anymore.
The drinking thing.

I feel the same about most of these things too, though if you combined these with vidya games it could be better I think.

That's why I drink at home.
Other drunk people are obnoxious and boring. I'm not.

I'm marking May 12 (and the following date, Friday the 13th) as days for remembrance -- to remember moderation. I got overly drunk on May 12, and felt helpless as I got very sick and couldn't make it upstairs to find the toilet, to release my cascade of sick.

It was like a fountain of which I couldn't escape. And then I had to face the clean-up the following day after I rested a bit, naked on the futon. Somehow I managed to push myself up the stairs (dizzy! sooo sick!) and took a shower, and crawled into bed with Jim.

Around 8 am, while I laid in bed, I thought about the mess I made, downstairs, and tried to get up to "fix things" before Jim woke up (or he might get sick, too.) But this seemed to be an impossible task. I'd get up for the toilet, and then collapse back down on the bed. Get up to try to get dressed, and then head for the toilet (it was coming out the "other end" now) and collapse back on the bed, beside a sleeping Jim. This would occur several times, before I was ready to go downstairs, and confront my puky-handiwork.

Eventually I gathered up the comforters and my pretty party clothes for laundering, sprayed and cleaned the futon and the rug -- opened the windows) And the smell -- whoa -- I couldn't seem to shake it, even after cleaning up everything, (Jim couldn't smell anything) until the next day.

Believe it or not, after all my years of partying, this was my first time for me to experience being soooo sick, and having such a dark hangover the following day. I must admit, generally I don't drink much -- because as Jim says, I'm not a volume drinker.

I don't know if I'll be able to have a beer at my next social event (which is coming up next weekend -- a friend of mine is having a Birthday party, and Jim and I will be playing music) but maybe this, in the end, doesn't matter.

I'm better off drinking tea. Or ginger-ale. Or better yet, a cold glass of water.
