History: Chiryuu got lucky (or unlucky) when he was 12. He had just joined the academy, and was digging around in his family's attic for jutsu training scrolls. The one he found (although he didn't know it at the time) was a jutsu scroll designed personally by the First Tsukikage, and he set to work learning it that day. By Midnight that night, he had mastered the jutsu. Hitobashiraa, the human sacrifice technique. He could feel it working its way through him, his internal energies changing, growing hungry.
So he did what any other rational being would do. He took his father's matching knives and murdered his entire family in their sleep. It felt wonderful! He performed the technique and absorbed the leftover energies of the dead, growing stronger than ever before.
Unfortunately, neighbors next door heard the screaming, and LUNA agents came and arrested Chiryuu and took away the scroll, locking it in the village forbidden jutsu vault.
But the damage was already done.
Chiryuu has been in LUNA prison for the last twelve years, and has killed 14 other inmates over that time. Eventually, he was locked up in solitary confinement, in Ward C.
Demeanor: Chiryuu isn't necessarily a bad guy. He's witty, snarky, a little psychotic, and extremely bloodthirsty. Killing is just a way for him to become stronger. Ordinarily, though, he prefers to kill bad people, though he wouldn't hesitate to steal the lifeforce of an innocent if they were already dying.
Skill Set: Killing. Murder. That sort of thing. All of that lifeforce he's absorbed over the years have made him near superhuman. His strength, speed, stamina - all are incredible. And his knives? He's damn near surgical.
Chakra Orientation:Chiryuu isn't specifically oriented toward any element, but he is intensely attuned to spiritual energies.
