Hi, everyone! National Tap Dance Day is May 25th every year and I am planning to have a National Tap Dance Day gathering at my Gaia Home this May 25th, 2011 and 8 PM Eastern Standard Time. I am hoping that the party will last for an hour or two as we get together and chat about tap or whatever else we want!

For the party, everyone please dress up your avatars in tap outfits! Be creative! Don't forget to wear something as your tap shoes!

EVENTS FOR THE GATHERING:

I am pleased to announce the events for the National Tap Dance Day gathering at my house. If you have any ideas for activities, please let me know!

- Hang Out: Say hi! Get to know each other! Talk about whatever!

- Tap Fashion Show: Dress up your avatar in some tap outfits. It can be a costume, regular dancewear, or whatever else you can come up with. Just don't forget tap shoes! For each user, guests at the gathering then vote which costume they like most and that user can choose if he/she would like to wear that costume for the rest of the event. TIP: Save your tap avatars as preset outfits so you can quickly change into your different tap avatars.

- Tap Survey: Ask tap related questions to everyone! What's your favourite tap step? How old were you when you started tap dancing? Ask away!

- Tap Videos: In a video lounge, I will be showing tap dance videos from YouTube and we will watch them together. If there is a tap video on YouTube that you would like to show in the video lounge, then please send me a link. It can be someone else's or it can even be your own!



So remember: National Tap Dance Day Gaia gathering on May 25th, 2011 at 8 PM in my Gaia home! Party will last for one or two hours. See you there!
