Well for classical music there are not really bands.

For other music and genres I have been listening to a lot of Emilie Autumn and the Halo: ODST soundtrack. Two very different but enjoyable albums. Also the movie soundtrack to Sucker Punch and Tangled. I guess I am an soundtrack kind of person.
