Shadow arrives and walks quietly into the lunchroom.
Shadow spots Kawazu sucking on his popsicle, she gives him a nod and small wave.
She walks into the kitchen and grabs an orange popsicle out of the freezer. She walks back out and takes a seat next to Kawazu and is silent.

Kai was sitting down with his frail hands tied behind his back. It was obvious from his red eyes that he had been crying recently. When he looked over to see Shadow and Kawazu he stayed quiet. With a small sad sigh he looked back down at his plate. Empty as always...He was supposed to be allowed to eat today, but sense his hands were bound and he was kept on a tight leash of freedom, he could not get his own food.

Shadow sees Kai and is confused for a second when she sees an empty plate in front of him. She gets up and grabs Kai's plate and makes him some food- nuggets and cheesy tots to be exact- and sets it in front of him before untying his hands.
"Go ahead and eat Kai, who knows when you will get food again. Your just lucky I noticed you and your empty plate. Speak up next time, got it?

Kai looks up at Shadow with scared eyes as she came closer to him.He was a quite surprised when she served him food and took the bounds off of his hands. He bowed his head to her, and said, "Th-thank you, and a-alright..." He gulped and looked back to his food. He took a small bite, and glanced back at her.

Kai quickly looked back to his food and took another bite. He was still trembling, but not as bad now. Should I believe her?... He did not feel like he could trust any assassin, after what the others did to him here. Kai had no idea why he was here, and why they were even keeping him alive.

Mari walked in and got some food. She was barefoot as usual, but she sat as far away from shadow as possible. She didn't know what was going on so she stayed away.

Shadow stayed by Kai for another second before patting his head and saying " My friends and I are some of the few assassins who won't hurt you unless you give us a reason to." and skips away to go see Mari. Shadow sneeks up behind Mari and throws her arms around her neck. Then screams "HI SISSY!!!" and backs up laughing.

Kai flinched away from her hand as she patted his head. He looked down quickly at his food and was relieved to glance back and see that Shadow had left. He took another bite, and another, and another. He had not eaten in a while, and the taste of it was great.

Mari turned in surprise. "Why were you two being all mysterious earlier?" she asked with a frown.

"You really wanna know?" Shadow asks looking at Mari with sad eyes.
"Cause I wish I could tell you.... but I can't and it's for your own good." She whispers and turns walkng out of the cafeteria and to her dorm.

Kai finished his food and looked down. He stood, and was very surprised that no one was tieing his hands together again. He ever-so-slowly walked out of the lunch room and found his way to his small dorm.

wolf walks in trying not to be noticed wolf sat down at the most fartist away table and took out a grilled chese sandwich and its it slowly while savering the tast and looks arond hopping no one will see him
