There's this girl I like at school, yet I don't have the guts to ask her out due to my aspberger's syndrome. Any advice?

Why not ask her for some help with a homework assignment? That's a good way to find out if she is interested in you. From there, you can maybe slowly build up the courage to ask her out. If nothing else, you may find a good friend. Good luck!

Compliments and simple every day chit chat are great ways to get to know someone. After a while, you can then build up the confidence to ask them out. That's how my boyfriend asked me out- we knew each other after hanging out and talking for a year. smile

I bet you she would be flattered if you asked her to go have an ice cream with you or to go on a walk with you! Just getting to know her better gives you an in. And you honestly have something to spark her interest, she might be curious about your Asperger's and that alone could get the two of you talking. There's a hundred reasons why this could be one of the greatest experiences of your life! And if for some reason things don't work out, oh well, there's always someone else and another time and place! Good luck and remember, listening and talking is the best way to start building something.

im glad you all think a little chitchat and buddy buddy goes a long way....you should all know that girls are the most complex creatures on earth and that it takes subtlety to find out what they like. Love is an even more complex thing and the only thing you can do is try. But dont worry, im sure you'll succeed. The gods hate me and grant anyone i talk to with a strong relationship
