so i did a little experiment: not talk to anyone until they talk to me first. turns out if i dont talk to my closest "friend" and most other "friends" first, they dont talk to me.
im not asking for sympathy at all (im not pathetic enough to do that). all im asking is for all of you to talk to people. even if you just say hi to them once a day and even if theyre only a class mate you dont really know, a simple "hi how are ya" can really make them feel better. im gonna start doing that more often; just wanted to spread the idea.

I didn't really talk first for a good chunk of my life
I just started to this year
I've made a lot of new friends, and honestly its way more fun.

Ugly Organist Oh yes~ I know a lot about this I didn't really talk first for a good chunk of my life I just started to this year I've made a lot of new friends, and honestly its way more fun. yeah ive actually been semi social this year, and after years of friends using me as a "back up" friend, i decided to make new friends.

ZombieToast902 Ugly Organist Oh yes~ I know a lot about this I didn't really talk first for a good chunk of my life I just started to this year I've made a lot of new friends, and honestly its way more fun. yeah ive actually been semi social this year, and after years of friends using me as a "back up" friend, i decided to make new friends. good for you, i had a revelation about loneliness, and i've been working on getting rid of my social anxieties you just gotta try. and then from there things get easier.

Ugly Organist ZombieToast902 Ugly Organist Oh yes~ I know a lot about this I didn't really talk first for a good chunk of my life I just started to this year I've made a lot of new friends, and honestly its way more fun. yeah ive actually been semi social this year, and after years of friends using me as a "back up" friend, i decided to make new friends. good for you, i had a revelation about loneliness, and i've been working on getting rid of my social anxieties you just gotta try. and then from there things get easier. i still sometimes feel like hiding from people, but i usually push myself. for instance, a chick in my drama 1 class last semester was in another grade so i wouldnt have any classes with her so i forced myself to ask to exchange numbers. shes in my drama 2 class now and were like best friends now! success!

i use to be very very quiet when i was little and then i hit middle school and made a new friend who was also a red head, which excited me since i was the only one in my grade, then she introduced me to some other girls who became my best friends also.
Now in high school i voice my opinion more often, and i'm not as quiet, but i notced after reading your thing my friends will talk to me but if i don't look good they'll ask if i'm alright or anything.
