I feel quite the same way. I feel that it's lost its edge. The shows don't suprise me like they used to. It makes me sad. Then again, I really wasn't holding high expectations for this season. It's much too off-focus. It went from being about the weird things in your closet to a whole angels v. demons feud. Quite disappointing. I probably won't watch season seven, in the fear that it will wreck my opinion on Supernatural any further. I mean, I'm to the point that I'll go to bed at 9 on friday nights and catch it on DVR.
Yeah. It's not nearly as 'supernatural' as Supernatural used to be. Angels and Demons were exciting at first, but I guess they're trying to milk it for all it's worth now. I kind of want to know what happened to Chuck, but I guess we're not going to find that out anytime soon.
I think I'm going to watch as much season 7 I can handle [if it gets unbearable], but I probably won't consider it Supernatural Season 7. Probably more like... well, like how fanfiction is. I can't think of the proper term for it, but it isn't an actual part of the Supernatural series. I think the word is spin-off.
I don't even watch Supernatural on TV anymore. I just wait the three or so days it takes for the CW to put it up on their site.
