This is a discussion open to everyone, which includes anime, manga, comics and cartoons. It is a OOC-out of character and in character discussion stating the pros for why Aizen sama is the best antagonist that ever was, vs the pros for one other villain (or neutral character) from any anime/manga/cartoon/comic according to each participant.
Each participant's post will include your pros for Aizen sama and the contender as to why, you personally, think they are both the best antagonist. Please also put what series/ comic/ cartoon the contender comes from. And if a contender villain you like is already in that month's discussion, but feel more pros can be added to them, feel free to add them. Just put the additional information in a different post- but mention the antagonist's name. And please put 'ooc' if you say something out of character.
It will be a monthly contest where a final vote will be taken at the end of each month from all who wish to participate. And all may participate in voting, not just ones who enter antagonists. All info that will be included in the vote for a given month, will be all posts within that month.
If anyone has any further questions or feel I wasn't clear on something, feel free to post them here. Have fun everyone! ^^
Update: The last 7 days of each month will be when voting can begin.

Tell why he makes a great antagonist. first and formost, Uchiha Madara has been the watching all the battles. first we thought Orochimaru was the real enemy, however there was someone in the shadows hiding, that would be MAdara as Tobi. just like aizen, he was hiding and observing his enemies.. as well as making his plan. He also wants to rule the world same with aizen. both of them deceived there enemies well.. both of them have the same ambitions. World domination. all i can say is that. Aizen Sousuke met his match..

Aizen sama: the King of Hueco Mundo, the Lord of Las Noches. Arguably, his most fearsome trait is his tremendous intellect. He rarely shows signs of alarm or distress, and often has entire situations planned out well in advance. He’ll use whatever means possible to achieve his ambitions, and is totally fearless. He’s cunning crafty and immortal. He wants world domination. (OOC: And merged with the Hogyoku in order to not only bring down the barrier between Shinigami and Hollows, but to bring about the capture and materialization of all of his heart's desires, including his 4 transformations.) He is also an extremely powerful combatant. Being a master tactician, he is capable of adjusting seamlessly to any given combat situation. He is also extremely cautious in battle, as to leave no blind spots. His Shikai special ability, Complete Hypnosis, is not to be messed with either, and he is also shown to be a highly capable fighter unarmed as well. He is a mysterious, calm and cool man, who gives an air of subtle danger…
Joker from Batman: the Harlequin of Hate, Ace of Knaves, or most famously (and self proclaimed) Clown Prince of Crime. He is a criminal mastermind who is fiendishly intelligent. His mental state is said to be a form of previously unprecedented ‘super sanity’- a form of ultra sensory perception. He is skilled in the field of chemistry and engineering, as well as an expert in explosives. The world is his stage, and he is the performer. He thinks life, crime, everything is just a big joke, and will use any means possible to wreak havoc. He sometimes announces his crimes before he commits them, which can be both whimsical and brutal- daring others to come and stop him. Self preservation does not matter to him. He can be recognized just by his laugh; his laugh being either ominous and intimidating, or gleeful and wild. (OOC: as done by Mark Hamill) When he smiles, it’s scary- and you just know he's up to something. He seems to have cheated death numerous times, even in seemingly inescapable and lethal situations. He has been caught in explosions, been shot repeatedly, dropped from lethal heights, electrocuted, and so on, but he always returns once again to wreak havoc. Plus, his arch-nemesis refuses to kill him. And unlike the tried and true methods to commit a crime, The Joker has a variety of (comedic) weapons at his disposal- like his infamous Joker Venom. The complexity of his character and his capricious (unpredictable) nature is unmatched. It is suggested that he has no true personality of his own, that on any given day or at any given moment, he can be a harmless clown or a vicious killer, depending on which would benefit him the most...
(OOC: Note: Crowe may not actually know about the Hogyoku, but it’s part of my own interpretation on why Aizen makes a great antagonist.)

(OOC: Now as to why darkn64, and I, YuYuHakusho135, think Dr. Gero and kid buu are contenders. Dr. Gero- Because he was basically able to destroy the world in Trunk's world with his androids, and to exact his revenge on Goku. He also created Super 17 (who's power equals buu) along side a another doctor to destroy the world...again.
And as for kid Buu- We think he may be more evil than Aizen because he destroys things because he can- so there's no reasoning behind it.
Did I about cover it, darkn64? Feel free to add more, since you know more than I do.
Of course, keeping buu in mind, it depends on what type of villian you (everyone) personally like more. One who wants to rule to world, or one who wishes to destroy it. Somehow, to me, the ones who wish to rule the world seem to be a heck of a lot more dangerous than those who wish to destroy it. But they are kind of equal in their own way...maybe. Though I do have a great contender that's a 'destroy the world' type villain, Sakyo, but he'll be in next month's discussion. biggrin )
