Personality: Darius can be brash and gutsy, yet careless. Always willing to fight his way out of a situation just as much talk his way out, Darius finds a way to keep a cool head even in situations of certain death. Never one to shy away from cutting a deal, Darius has a knack for finding a way to make a situation work in his favor. To those he trusts most, and they are seldom few, Darius is a loyal friend, willing to stick his neck out for those he cares for, and is really a pretty loving guy.
Weapons: Darius has two primary weapons he carries with him at all times, the first is a long slender Scimitar, decorated with finely crafted steel work, the hilt resembles a Dragon clutching a globe in it's claws. His second weapon is a thick leather and steel clove on his left hand, the glove is equipped with flexible steel plates that cover the palm, backhand and the top of his fingers. The steel on the fingers extend off the tips becoming razor sharp claws no more then a half inch in length. His glove offers full range of motion, and does not hinder his agility.
Weaknesses: Darius is weak against all magical attacks, he's no magic user! Of course anything that can kill a normal human Darius is prone to dying if those things happen to him. Drowning, falling off a large enough cliff, getting stabbed in the face, just to start the list... Should I need to go on?

Biography: Darius Okeer comes from a dry desolate land far east across the great ocean. He traveled to these lands years ago, but before he made the Continent that holds Veridian his home, he was a well known bandit in his home land. Raised by a band of gypsies who plucked him out of an oasis the band took shelter in during a great sandstorm, Darius never learned of his true origins. The nomadic gypsies became his family, and learning to steal, barter and how to out run a cities guards was a life skill that was needed in order to get by.
When he had become old enough, the ripe young age of 14, Darius joined a Bandit group and took to his own life of stealing, heists and raids on caravans. Business was good for his group, too good it seemed. One day his leader was propositioned to steal from the Maharajah of a great kingdom. The pay was amazing, and the plan seemed fool proof, so needless to say they took the job. The job went according to plan and everyone made it out without a scratch, and Darius was appointed to hold the treasure until the rendezvous. Little did Darius and his group know that the Maharajah was alerted to the heist and ambushed his gang before he made it to the rendezvous. Darius arrived to find his friends slaughtered and a price on his head.
After days of being on the run Darius fled his homeland and sailed across the sea. Darius did not originally set port in Veridian, he first arrived in a small fishing village south of Veridian, and spent the last few years earning a reputation in the southern lands. Occasionally setting foot in Veridian when a job took him that way, he now has set his eyes on the seemingly endless opportunities this land has to offer.
Likes: Darius enjoys taking the long road compared to the shortcuts in life. The harsh yet delicate sound of steel clashing against steel. Fine wine, the sweet stuff, and well the bitter stuff too. Taking part in drinking games and being the loudest singer when drinking songs are heard.
Dislikes: Darius hates overly wet weather, and being out at sea... he get's sea sick fairly easily. Darius becomes furious when anyone threatens or beats a woman or child, in his presence or not. Darius actually believes in protecting the weak, believe it or not, and despises people of power abusing their power over the weak and helpless.
Other: Darius enjoys fishing and trapping in his spare time, he always felt like he would settle down somewhere, when the money stopped being sos o good to him. Darius smokes and knows how to play a simple flute. Darius is a survivalist, and can survive in any wilderness with no human contact for months. Darius is an amazing acrobat, achieving feats that would only be classified as un-human or supernatural, but he swears "...no tricks are needed to replace natural skill."
