This guild is about clean and simple fun. I'm not going to give you eons worth of red tape to read through here. You're all members because you're smart, mature and level headed people. By not outlining exactly what you can & can't do I'm giving you the freedom to automatically know what is right and wrong within the Naru-verse.
On that note, should people fail this, things will change and I'll draw up some sort of set in stone structure. So read on below to understand what your character can and cannot do. Like I said, if we're all mature and behave ourselves, things can stay this relaxed.

We'll start off with Character types, since this should be quick and painless. I'm asking you to be sensible and use your common sense really. A Taijutsu specialist isn't going to have 3 elements and master them, likewise a medical ninja wouldn't be a master swordsman to boot. I could go on and on but you get the idea.
Personally I don't believe people have strict rules, Kisame was a Kenjutsu specialist but also great with ninjutsu. Just strike a reasonable balance. You can by all means have 3 elements but not be master of them all, pick one to have an affinity for and stick to it.
All I'm asking for here is that the nature of the character you pick is represented in fighting style and attack range, if it's not then your profile will get rejected - simple as that. Here are a few 'no-no's' when it comes to striking a balance;
Genjutsu/Taijutsu Kenjutsu/Genjutsu Medical/Taijutsu Kenjutsu/Medical Ninjutsu/Genjutsu - unless there's some sort of Kekkei Genkai involved because otherwise people can get a little too OP with this
Ideas of good combinations, you can just have one specialized field though; Genjutsu/Medical Taijutsu/Kenjutsu Kenjutsu/Weapons Ninjutsu/Medical Senjutsu/Ninjutsu

Finally, there will, of course, be a cap on how many jutsus each rank may learn. Since for the most part I want the guild to focus on the roleplaying and not the fighting, there won't be endless lists of jutsu.
Concerning elements; you may have up to three but only one you can follow through up to S-rank, the second must stop at B-rank and the third at C-rank. The only exception to this is any Kekkei Genkai jutsus you must learn.
I'm just going to break it down nice and simple for you. Academy Students - (No Elemental Affinity) E-rank; 10 Jutsu's D-rank; 3 Jutsu's C-rank; 1 Jutsu B-rank; N/A A-rank; N/A S-rank; N/A
Genin - (1 Elemental Affinity, unless KG is unlocked) E-rank; 12 Jutsu's D-rank; 10 Jutsu's C-rank; 4 Jutsu's B-rank; N/A A-rank; N/A S-rank; N/A
Chuunin - (2 Elemental Affinities) E-rank; 17 Jutsus D-rank; 13 Jutsus C-rank; 10 Jutsus B-rank; 5 Jutsus A-rank; 1 Jutsu S-rank; N/A
Jounin - (3 Elemental Affinities) E-rank; 20 Jutsus D-rank; 15 Jutsus C-rank; 13 Jutsus B-rank; 10 Jutsus A-rank; 7 Jutsus S-rank; 2 Jutsus
Kage - (3 Elemental Affinites) E-rank; 22 Jutsus D-rank; 17 Jutsus C-rank; 15 Jutsus B-rank; 13 Jutsus A-rank; 10 Jutsus S-rank; 3 Jutsus
S-rank - (3 Elemental Affinities) E-rank; 23 Jutsus D-rank; 18 Jutsus C-rank; 18 Jutsus B-rank; 15 Jutsus A-rank; 11 Jutsus S-rank; 5 Jutsus

On the note of S-rank jutsus. These are usual the most powerful techniques in the world, which are ranked forbidden because of the fatal effects it has on both user and target. You may only auto-know 2 at max if your character rank allows it, apart from KG's, any other must be learned through a scroll or by someone who already knows them.

Just a note, since people aren't being too realistic with the 'stats' side of this I'm just going to lay down a 'guide line' of where a character's powers should realistically fall.
In the 'Abilities' section of the profile you fill out a list of different sections listing under ninjutsu all the way to handseals. These are each ranked out of five and give a total mark out of 40. To stop over powering I'm going to set realistic limits on ranks as per the averages in the canon. Genin - up to 20 out of 40, no 5 out of 5's Chuunin - up to 25 out of 40, only one 5 out of 5 allowed Jounin - up to 33 out of 40. Kage/S-rank - up to 40 out of 40, however I never expect to see someone with this.
Please read these over and adjust your character appropriately. Giving your character the highest end of the limit will not always boost you, mary sues and OP characters are more likely to get rejected. Remember guys this isn't a guild based on power, its about character's with believable stories and personalities.
Thanks! <3

On the subject of Auto-ranking.
Unless you have applied to specifically be someone above that of a genin/academy character; (Tasogare Members & Leader/Kages) You're character will be a genin, and as such you should limit them to those powers etc. Now since this guild is just starting I will allow auto ranking within reason. If you want to go any higher then you pm me with your character name, village, linked with profile and ask for the rank you want.
I will then ask for a sample, reasons why etc. Do not make this character until I have either accepted or denied this application. Only I can make this call, please do not bother the other crew members with auto-ranking.
