Ryan looked around with a look of confusion. Last she remembered was walking through the door to get her sister when all of a sudden everything went black. When she woke up she found herself in front of this weird building. No one was around and the sun looked very demented. "Cass!" Ryan called out quietly. She never spoke up very loudly even when she was lost. Skye Cass was a small distance away, she was just as confused as her sister was. She stood in the middle of a dark alley, a paper flying past her boots as she gazed around. "Ryan?" she called out quietly. "... great..." "Cass!" Salem heard a voice. He turned suddenly and walked toward the sound of the voice, spotting a very.... nice... girl. He decided to walk up and scare her. He creeped up slowly behind her, about to pounce. Flash spotted Salem sneaking up behind a poor, terrified girl. He knew that he was playing a prank on her for Flash had been the victim of many pranks before. "SALEM! IT'S NOT NICE TO SNEAK UP ON PEOPLE!!!!" Flash yelled as loudly as he possibly could, which was pretty loud. A bunch of people from inside the school heard him yelling and a few people tried to go and see what was happening, but the teachers stopped them. Ryan heard Flash's yell from behind her. When was spotted Salem and saw that he had been trying to sneak up on her she jumped back a few feet and quickly summoned her weapons, claw gauntlets. A spark of lightning flashed off of it and then fell to the ground. She watched Flash and Salem with frightened eyes, debating on whether to attack or run. Skye from the few blocks away Cass was from she could hear a faint high pitched voice. She raised an eyebrow, sighing solemnly and stuffing her hands into her jean pockets as she walked toward the noise. "I have nothing else better to do than to follow the voice, i guess." she muttered, a little annoyed at how confused she was. Salem spun around and glared at Flash. "Do you HAVE to ALWAYS ruin the fun?" than he smirked and stared at Ryan. "Aw, baby don't be like that." He grinned creepily... Flash glared at Salem and snapped, "I DO NOT ruin the fun! It's just not nice to prank people you don't even know. Go prank Soul or Maka or something. I don't think she even knows where she is." Ryan looked at Salem and got a scared look on her face. She stumbled backwards before tripping over her own two feet. It wasn't her fault she was clutzy. She was just born that way. "Cass?!" Ryan called out in her soft, and "not-so-loud" voice, hoping that her twin would come to help her out. Skye Cass heard the soft nervous sound of her sister's voice and her head shot up quickly. She ran quickly to the voice, and almost was smiling until she saw the two guys standing in front of her. One looking... a bit violent... Salem was smirking at Ryan's voice and the way she was clutzy and gave her a flirtatious look, unaware of the fist heading straight for his face. "Ow!" He exclaimed falling on his butt and staring straight up at a girl with long blond hair and looking at his own death in her eyes. "Uh...... sorry if i don't remember you, i could've been drunk or something! Honestly i can't handle another girl beating on me just for not remembering her!" Ryan looked a little bit less scared when Cass showed up and stood up quickly. Her weapons were gone at the moment, but she would summon them quickly if needed. "Wh- Who are you guys?" Ryan asked quietly. She wouldn't be surprised if they didn't even hear her. Flash rolled his eyes at Salem. "Salem you've never met this girl. You drag me along whenever you do get drunk or something and a girl might get involved. I remember each and every girl you've messed around with. In fact, I've never seen these two at all before." Flash said calmly. Flash looked over at Ryan and continued, "I'm Flash. The idiot's Salem. I'm assuming your friend who punched Salem is known as Cass. We don't mean any harm. Even Salem. He just likes scaring people." Skye Cass casted a glare on Salem, saying "don't touch my sister or you'll never be able to have kids" basically in her eyes. She walked toward her sister and nodded toward Flash. "Cool. So... where exactly are we?" she asked. Salem shifted, looking from side to side uncomfortably from the glare Cass just gave him. "Aw... but come on... I mean.... oh god, was she your girlfriend???? i didn't know i never met two people like that before! I'm SO sorry i will never touch your girl-" "She's my sister dumbass." "oh...." Flash slapped himself in the face with his palm. "Anyway, ignoring my friend's dumbness, this is Death City. World of Soul Eater. You must've found a lapse in the portal if you don't know where you are. And you can't be guardians. Funny, you two seem.... different from other visitors we get here. Come on. The street is not place to sit around and talk. You guys can stay at my house for a hour or two while figuring out where to stay for the night. Don't worry, I'll make sure Salem keeps his distance." Flash said calmly. Ryan looked at Flash and then at Salem. She wondered why he was so.... weird. "Uh... my name's Ryan." Ryan said, staring off into space, but looking as though she was looking straight at Salem. "I'm ok with staying at your house for a little bit. It sounds like a good idea, doesn't it Cass? I mean at least until we figure everything out."

Skye Cass shrugged. "Sure i guess." She said, still eyeing Salem with her famous death stares. "I'm not exactly sure how we got here, but I'm pretty sure you could help us out, right?" Salem grinned. "Of course. That's what we do! help pretty little girls when they are in desperate need- i mean very strong attractive, but not too attractive- i mean cute- i mean-" He stuttered as Cass stared harder at him. Flash nodded to Cass and said, "Followed me." Ryan laughed when Salem started stuttering because of Cass. When he wasn't sitting there hitting on her in a creepy way she actually didn't mind him. Ryan nodded to Flash and followed him calmly. "hmm..." Ryan muttered under her breath. Flash led them all to a building that looked kind of out of place. "You guys can stay here for the night. There are two extra bedrooms. There aren't any other places to stay like a hotel or tavern in Death City so this is nearly your only option. Sorry to tell you this, but Salem lives here too. So when you go to sleep, lock your door." Flash said calmly as he walked inside. Skye Cass nodded, observing her surrounding... "Funny how we got into this situation." She muttered, walking toward the house. "watch yourself ryan." She whispered in that strange creepy way when she's dead serious. Usually you really couldn't tell if Cass was serious or not. But you knew right away she was completely serious when she talked to you that way. "We don't know this place or these people, so watch your back." Salem was glowing at the thought of two ladies sleeping at their house, but he wasn't so sure about the protective sister... she seemed a little weird. Too serious for his liking. The younger sister was MUCH more attractive and cute. He looked at her in his pervy way for a few seconds before meeting Cass's angry eyes. Flash heard what Cass said and smirked. His eyes darkened for a few second and in a low and warning voice he said, "You should also be glad that you have a place to stay. strange things happen here and the streets are no place to be out on at night for people like you." Flash then returned to being his happy old self. "You guys hungry? It's around dinner time." Flash said with a thoughtful look on his face. Ryan looked at Flash with a questioning look on her face, but decided to ignore his random mood swing. Ryan glanced at Salem looking at her in a pervy way and carefully took a step to the side and away from him. "I'm fine." Ryan said to Flash. She took Cass's warning into consiederation and figured it'd be best to not eat anything. Skye Cass nodded. "not hungry." She said calmly and folded her arms close to her chest. "So, we're in Death City, huh? I wonder how we got to be here... everything's too fuzzy for me to really remember." She glanced at Ryan. "How about you?" Ryan looked at Cass and then said, "uh... well... I- i was walking through a door to get you for.... I f- forget what.. But there was this bright flash and then I was standing where I was...." Ryan didn't like talking much and talking in front of two strangers about something that would probably make her seem insane wasn't her cup of tea. Skye "Huh." Salem said, taking everything into thought. Cass nodded. "I only remember light and than walking around aimlessly in an alley." She turned to Flash and Salem. "What do y'all think?" Flash looked at Cass and thought for a moment. "Sounds like you guys have jumped worlds. Sometimes people do that by accident. I'm a guardian so I can control the portals and hop worlds. So is Salem. This is the world of Soul Eater. I wouldn't put much thought in going back though. Salem and my powers' have decreased for some reason and we haven't been able to potral hop. We can't help you, but you two are welcome to stay here for a while... it's nice to have someone around that can keep Salem in control." Flash said matter-of-factly. "Anyway, I'll show you guys to your rooms. I'd recomend sleeping and seeing if you can remember anything else in the morning." Flash said calmly before turning and showing Cass and Ryan to their rooms that were on the second floor. The rooms were right next to each other. "My room's next to your room, Ryan and Salem's room is next to Cass's." Flash said calmly.

Salem shifted a nervous strange gaze at Cass who stood emotionlessly staring at her room. "Okay, thanks." She spoke softly and Salem let out a sigh of relief. 'Atleast she's not killing me... it would be so much better to sleep beside of Ryan. He looked at Ryan with another pervy look....

Ryan smiled in a very cute and innocent way that would charm any guy and quietly said, "Thank you very much. Cass, I'm going to go to sleep so I can keep up my strength. You should probably do the same thing." Ryan then turned away and walked into her room, not noticing Salem's pervy look and forgetting Flash's advice to lock her door so Salem couldn't go into her room. Ryan closed the door behind her and dropped the smile. She suddenly had a stone cold, calculating look on her face. Ryan scanned the room, turning it upside down to make sure nothing was odd. She wanted to make sure Cass was wrong about something happening and that they couldn't trust Salem or Flash. After that Ryan laid on the floor rather than the bed and looked up at the ceiling. She also took off her shirt and was in just a tank top.
Flash nodded and then looked at Salem and Cass. "I know I already asked you Cass, but I'll ask again. You guys want something to eat. I've got enough stuff that I can make whatever you want." Flash said calmly. He crossed his arms and watched Cass and Salem calmly.

Cass nodded appreciatively, but turned him down. "no thank you. i'm not hungry." She calmly said and walked off toward her room. Salem watching her shut the door, and winced as she locked it.
"Something's kind of off about them." Salem stated in a whisper as soon as the coast was clear. He turned to Flash. "Just by their aura."

Flash looked over at Salem and chuckled. "I'm surprised you noticed. From what I can tell, they've seen many hardships, always relying on each other to get them through these things, but there's something else. They're different from most. I can't tell why or how, but they are. They're special. Oh well. I'm gonna go make myself something to eat. If you want something, make it yourself. And try to keep yourself from getting Cass to attack you whatever you do." Flash said calmly and lazily. Flash then turned and walked down stairs calmly.

Salem shivered at the thought and just let out a comical sigh and walked toward the kitchen. He wasn't that hungry, but he got the chills standing close to her door.
Cass stood in her room, staring off into space. She was lost into deep thought and concentration. It would suck if Ryan and her was stuck in a situation where they were trapped in a house with loons. She would have to keep her head.

Flash went down to the kitchen with Salem and started cooking. He was making some kind of chicken. He hummed as he cooked and the delicious aroma of the food would drift through the house, including into the two girls' rooms. Once he was done cooking, Flash put it on a plate and calmly ate it. Once he was done her cleaned up and sat at the table.

Cassiel lay quietly in her bed, trying to keep her guard up, but slowly failing as she drifted to a soft slumber. As she began to snore she suddenly smelt the burning smell of gas... and her eyes shot open as she saw fire on the ceiling. Screaming she quickly scrambled to the floor and tried to open her door but was stuck. "I knew I shouldn't have trusted them!" She screamed as she felt the warmth of the fire get hotter. She could here footsteps in the halls... more than two though, there must've been atleast five or six. She gritted her teath, banging at the door to open.

Ryan hadn't fallen asleep because whenever she closed her eyes her mind threatened to torture her with dreams of the past. Ryan smelt a fire burning. Ryan shot up off the floor. She didn't have anytime to put her normal clothes back on. (She's wearing a tank top and some short shorts.) She had taken off her heavier clothes so she would be cooler. Ryan didn't see any fire and ran out of her room. Based on the orange glow coming from Cass's room, Ryan figured that was where the fire was. "Fire!" Ryan screamed to alert Flash and Salem. Ryan then felt power surge through her as she summoned her reaper powers. A scythe appeared in her hands and Ryan attacked the door viciously, but something was preventing her from even making a scratch. "Cass! Cass!" Ryan screamed at the top of her lungs.
Flash had gone to sleep after eating and was awoken by Ryan's screaming. Flash looked around before running out of his room and looking at Ryan trying to cut Cass's door down. "Ryan get back! Salem, wherever the h*** you are, get Ryan out of here." Flash yelled loudly. Flash then pushed Ryan out of the way and tried to figure out the magic that was blocking Cass's door. He was an elf so magic was something he was good with. Flash put a hand up to Cass's door and summoned up his power of black fire.

Salem ran up to the fire and tried to put some of the spreading fire out, getting closer to Ryan. "What the hell happened???" He asked her, leading her out of the house.
Cass stood in the room, her voice starting to falter due to the smoke. They were helping her? Than who was there earlier...? the fire was getting bigger...

Ryan followed Salem with a worried expression. A few tears escaped from her eyes and she was coughing a little from the smoke. She shook her head and quietly said, "I don't know..."
Flash released his power, melting the other magic away with his fire. Flash then kicked down the door with a powerful kick. Flash looked at the spreading fire and closed his eyes, once again summoning his power. His fire was in control and would be able to tame the other fire for jut a moment. "Get out of here!!!!" Flash yelled at Cass. His fire lit up the room and blocked the other fire so Cass would be able to get out. He wasn't sure how long her could keep the fire at bay.

Salem nodded and continued leading Ryan away... Either someone's after us... or after THEM... He thought.
Cass quickly hurried out, coughing a little and half covered in soot. Her long, blond hair nearly looked black now. She turned back to look for Flash.

Once out side Ryan realized just how cold it was compared to the burning house. She coughed a few times and said, "I'm sorry if it's our fault that your house burned down."
Flash's black fire vanished once Cass was out. He went to follow her, but fire was in his way. Flash shook his head and tried to clear away the dizziness that had come from using his power for so long. Flash sprinted toward the fire and then dove through it, using his arms as shields. Flash got through and looked at Cass. "Go!" Flash yelled before grabbing her hand and sprinting quickly. He wanted to get out before the house came down on them.
