It is said that this land was created by the goddess. She in all her love created the lands, the seas and life itself. She was lonely in this world, and in her image created the humans. After many centuries past, the goddes begain to take interest in the humans above all else. With there unmathced ability to evolve and adabt they became the strongest creatures on her planet. There was one human at the time after many years, that caught the heart of the goddess. She would on many a night come to the chambers of this human and partake in his mortal company. Though her time with the human was filled with bliss, while she walked among the mortals she saw terrible things. One night as it is tould, The goddess came to visit the man, after a time she left to return to her place in the heavens but was stopped by screams. She ran to the sound and saw something her mind had not yet thought of. In all their need to evolve and to excel lay the need to destroy. She kneeled down to the now dead and ravaged woman at her feet and for the first time felt anger. In her anger the goddess decided to create a force stronger then the humans. She created the Dragons.

Large, Powerful and even more intelligent then the smartest human, they ravaged the world of man in her name. Though in time the humans rose up led by the man the goddess loved the most. She pleaded for her love to return to her side, but despite his love for her her could not turn away from his fellow man. In time and with the mans guidance the humans begain to over power the Dragons even in all their might. In a last ditch effort the goddess went for the aid of a group of humans that worshiped her for centuries, they were seen as pure in her eyes and we always in her favor. That day she bestowed apon them the power of the dragons, They became known as Dragoons, with the body of humans, but the ability and power of a dragon they decimated the resistance. The victory was short lived, the humans found a power much like her own in the form of magic. And in time the humans finally captured the goddess and at there front was the man she loved most. To free themselves from this war she had to be killed. And in a act of pure evil she was struck down by the man she loved most. Though she could not be killed so easily, she turned to the form of a pure white Falcon and perched herself infront of the man. For his part in the uprising and for her broken heart, she turned the man into a Wolf which soon became the symbol for betryal and evil. After this act she left a decree.

One all those blessed by the Dragon will forever hold there power and would be forever her messangers

Two all those born of the Falcon were blessed directly with her power and considered her children and to forever be protect by the Dragon.

Three all born of the Wolf were to be feared and destroyed by the Dragon and to never come in contact with the falcon

Running through the forest, dodging around trees and bushes, Alexandria jumped over a fallen log and into a clearing. Even with her enhanced legs, they gave a good chase. Trying to catch her breath, she scans the trees and ground, looking around for any signs of ambush.

"They are getting smarter, and I am running out of options. How much more running can I do?" she muttered to herself as she scouted out a place to hide. They'd catch up to her soon.

Just as she began climbing a tree, she heard the tell-tale crunching of undergrowth: her pursuers. She quickly ascended the rest of the way and crouched out of view, pulling up her green-trimmed, tan cape.
Alex's boots were a soft, brown leather, made for traveling. They helped her keep her balance, along with the tail she sprouted. The rest of her attire was made for camouflage and comfort in the woods, all shades of brown, green, and gray.

Just when they started to leave the clearing, following her false trail out, her stomach growled, long and loud.

Why, oh WHY did I skip breakfast this morning? she silently chided herself as her pursuers looked up to her hiding spot.

Alex smiled as she landed on the ground with the grace of a cat. "Hello, boys." she cooed. "Did you enjoy or game of cat and mouse? I know I did." Alex idly brushed dirt and stray leaves from her arms, keeping a smile on her lips. "Glad you showed up. I was starting to get bored! You guys are better than most that are sent. Chased me nearly for what? Five, six miles?" Applauding their effort, trying to stall to think of something, the men began to surround her.

Luzaf couln't lie to himself, this woman declaired a decendant of the goddess was giving her Dragoon trackers hell. He was impressed they were the very same tracker group that had given him chase many years ago. Though they werent smart enough to not fall for his fake dieing act, but hey not everyone could be perfect.

He continued to watch the situation unfold from his perch in a near by tree. No matter how good the woman was he could smell her for miles, granted it was a nice smell seeing as most the woman around here smelt like they were fresh out of the brothels

"I guess i can watch alil longer" he smirked

His job was to assist and help the Dragoon trackers which was just pure irony, but money is money and they had no idea who he really was or what he was so it made no diffrence to him.

Completely surrounded, Alex slumped her shoulders. Looking for a way out that didn't cause harm, she scanned the trees. Seeing something out of place, feeling something wrong, she blessed herself with scent. Taking a long whiff from the air, Alex knew there was someone watching her.

Well, then I should put on a show, shouldn't I? With slumped shoulders, a look of defeat in her eyes, she sat on the ground, cross legged. "Well, whoever is in charge, you know the drill. You have to pick me up and carry me all the way back to my father."

She began channeling her nature powers, awakening the roots underneath her. Feeling them wrap around her ankles, she smirked, glad that her snow white hair shaded her face from view.

The hulking man came to pick her up. With his obvious strength, it should have been easy. After a few good tugs, and her not budging, he yanked real hard... And she went flying into the air, sprouting black wings.

"So long, boys! If I were you, I wouldn't tell my father how close you got. He may follow the Goddess, but that won't stop him from skinning you alive." Alex whooped as her powerful wings launched her into the air, through the dense trees. Freedom... She laughed triumphantly.

That little trick she just pulled was about enough proof for a blind man to see she was very obviously blessed. That made things simple for him, other then the very distinct fact that she could fly and he was lacking in that department. He lept from tree to tree using his knives to hold into the bark for the tree that didnt have enough strength in there upper branches to hold his weight.

He got as close to the woman as he could without acctually pysically flying himself.

"Yah know flaunting your power like that right in there face is just going to make them angry" He warned with another smirk

It was obvious the dragoons werent even using any of there power on the hunt for this woman other then to keep up with her, which honestly who could blame them. He had to use alil of his to do the same.

"Now you can come quitely with me or you can try to out run me, which well you wount have the same luck with that as you have with those idiots down there"
PostPosted: Thu Apr 28, 2011 4:38 pm

Alex laughed. Impressive. Just another captor, though. She couldn't stop herself from smirking back.

"I rather like them angry. It makes them stupid!" She chuckled."Did you enjoy my show, dear? It was all for you. You have a very... distinct scent." She wrinkled up her nose, her smile wavering slightly.

"You are very impressive, to be keeping up with me. I'm surprised, also, to note that you don't even have magic. My dear, you are a rather interesting fellow." Her face darkened, the smile vanishing. "However, I must say bid you farewell. I will not be captured." Her voiced lowered and dripped with malice. A low growl escaped her throat as Alex's jade green eyes flashed with a powerful anger. Her ebon wings expanded to their full glory, 8 feet of beautiful night so dark, and she let the wind take her higher.

Now luzaf wasnt going to let himself be shown up by bird lady here. He pulled out his chain and threw it with skill and precision in her direction. It wrapped itself around her leg and locked using the blade at the end to attach itself to the other portion of the chain.

"Sorry hun but my pay day is kind of riding on you"

He called apon as much strength as he felt he could use to bring her down without injuring her in anyway

Feeling the chain grasp her leg, she growled in rage. Knowing the fight upward would be futile, she saved her strength, and pulled just enough to make it look like she wanted to get away. She replaced her wings with claws and a stronger limbs.

Once she got close, she used her foot that wasn't chained, gravity, and his own strength, to try and kick him in the shoulder. "You want money, hun?" she growled. She threw two coins at him, not caring which. "Just kill me, Wolf. At least in death I'll be with my Goddess."

He was cought off gaurd by this... how did she know he was a cursed one. As she kicked him, he grabed her leg and threw her twords the ground. He jumped down after her quickly and smoothly catching her before she even came close to hitting the ground.

"I have no idea how the hell you know that bird girl, but keep it down or your dragon buddies over there will kill me and kill you for fear of being tainted."

It was true all wolves were forbidden to live, much less come into contact with a child of the goddess herself. It has happened before and each time ended poorly for all involved. He saw how angry the girl was and begain to feel some semblance of pity for her.

"Look am a Corsair, i hold no allegiance to anyone other then the fact coin changed hands.... you beat that price and my services change sides"

There was truth in what he tould the woman, he really could careless about helping those over grown lizards. Even though he was raised to serve them that was all along time ago. He was a Corsair now, money was the only thing that claimed his alligence and if this girl could give him a better offer he was hers
PostPosted: Thu Apr 28, 2011 5:19 pm

She almost screamed as she fell, but stopped herself. That would just lead to more of them. Bracing for the impact, she was shocked when he caught her. I was right about him being a Wolf... That smell could only be something unholy. A Corsair?

"Your stench, you filthy Wolf. Now let me go." She hissed in a whisper. With his strong arms around her, she felt safe. Sheltered. That was the last thing she wanted to feel in his touch. Think, think, think... Corsair. But you don't have much money. The Dragoons were probably offering him more than she had ever seen, let alone what she could imagine.

"Look, neither one of us wants to be caught, but they know I can't be tainted. I'm the Goddess' child. You will die, and I will be captured. What will happen to all that gold, huh?" she whispered, trying to keep the pleading tone from her voice. "Take me out of here, get me away from them, and I will get you what you want. Then you can be rid of me." The lying came easily, but she hoped it was convincing. He was a Wolf, they had to lie, or the died. He would probably see through her, but she prayed not.

Luzaf Couldnt read this woman at all but she had really smooth skin and her smell was even nicer up this close. It was a odd feeling for a man like him to have that was for sure. He figured there was some false hood in what she was promising him, but her situation was as dire as his at one time and knew there would be some semblance of truth within it. It would seem his need to not help these reptiles was over throwing his reason and need to eat sometime soon seeing as most of his jobs lately had been slightly less then what he had hoped for.

"well looks like its alil late for us to explain ourselves"

The Dragoons had cought up with them and were now surrounding him pointing there diffrent weapons at him.

"It looks like you have done your job corsair, now hand her to us and receive your payment for a job well done"

A man walked past the rest with his head held high, by his armor it was obvious he held the rank of Dragon Knight in the order, while the rest were probably still babies fresh out of the womb they call the "Nest", basically a training center for the order.
PostPosted: Thu Apr 28, 2011 5:46 pm

Alex let out a whimper before she could catch herself. She didn't want to show weakness to her captors. Before the Dragon Knight got close enough she whispered "Follow my lead and you will be paid by them and me."

She jumped out of his arms, angered with herself that she wished she could hide in them. Instead, Alex stood tall and raised her chin in defiance. She sprouted snow white falcon wings and unfurled them to their full, imposing size. "Dragon Knight, you have been trying to get me for the better of 11 years. You have failed at every turn." She let her words sink in as she folded her wings to her back, keeping them out for good measure. "If you must take me, you will pay this Corsair his wage and allow him to escort me back to my father. I will not go unless he does, because he should earn my father's favor." The 'not you' was implied by her tone.

She took a step back, to stand the Wolf's side. She grabbed his arm and held her hands there. Alex took comfort in his presence. For now, he was with her, even if it was against her will. He had to know he would die if he opposed her words. All she had to do was mention that he was a Wolf.

He snarled to himself, she had him right where she wanted him. He could easily slaughter the kids, but the dragon knight himself would pose atleast a chance of death on his end that he was not willing to gamble on right now. He decided to go along with the womans wishes. He removed the top portion of his cloak that was covering his face in order to show respect for the Knight in front of him. His face was shown for the first time, Long silver hair ran down his face, uncut and for the most part unkept, but it was kept out of his face by a bandana that held the symbol of the Corsairs. He had a eye patch covering his left eye that seemed to be a part of his bandana and a long scar across his face.

"Well you heard your goddess, best do what the lady says or i think we will all be in trouble for upsetting her"

He played with the bluff for now, but he was going to be ready for any opening he could take to get out of this mess.
PostPosted: Thu Apr 28, 2011 6:15 pm

Alex gave him a private smile and a reassuring squeeze of the arm. Her eyes thanked him. She let her eyes travel over the younger Dragoons, satisfied with the looks of fear she saw. When her eyes finally settled on the Dragon Knight, his face showed no reaction. With a quick bow of his head, he turned on a heel and started walking toward their camp. She did it. Well, almost. The hardest part was coming up: escaping.

"You Dragoons have done what no other could do. You have subdued and caught the wild card sent from the Goddess. Take pride in that. I will see to it that all of your names are mentioned when I see my father."

The whelps beamed with pride, the tension easing a bit. They cheered and clapped each other on the back. Good, she thought, the more confident they are, the easier it will be. Alex looked to her companion and appraised him, now that the immediate threat was gone. He had a rugged handsomeness that made her shiver. She smirked, noticing how their hair matched. "Corsair, dear, may I know my captor's name?"

He looked at her cought off gaurd yet again, she had the air of a woman very secure with herself. But the way she was holding so tightly to his arm said other wise. For now he would play along.

"Its Luzaf" He said with a light nod "And yours?"

He figured they could make alil small talk while they followed the dragoons back to there camp. It would be easier to escape at that point. Even if she tould them he was a wolf he would be long gone before any of them could so much as think about attacking him. No need to spill blood today he thought, as much as he would like to.
