Ok so my fox Tenshi is lifemated to Runaui. I have been thinking about maybe having Tenshi join a tribe to be Careers or maybe a Shaman but I don't want it to affect their lifemating and ability to have babies. How would would her joining a tribe affect that or does it very by tribe?

Unless Runaui joins the same tribe, the two would be considered a "Different Tribe" couple. They would only have a litter of four kits with two completed RPs, I believe. Though, I think they would only have a litter of four kits with two completed RPs anyway, since neither is in a tribe to begin with.
They would also need the Elder's permission/blessing to breed. And depending on the tribe's beliefs/alliances/whatever, the two may not be able to be together, but I would check with the owner of the tribe on that one.

well that's stupid and sucks to not be together if they are already together and lifemated. that shouldn't be like that.

Except it's always been that way, Lisa. The only reason Tenshi and Runaiu didn't need it originally is because Phoenix wasn't yet official, so we made it an exception. I'm sorry, but this isn't some new rule being sprung on you. If you don't like it, please give a constructive suggestion as to how it could be changed, or put Tenshi in Phoenix or no tribe at all.

I'm sorry, but this isn't some new rule being sprung on you. If you don't like it, please give a constructive suggestion as to how it could be changed, or put Tenshi in Phoenix or no tribe at all. phoenix is official now?
