 Tokemaru sat alone on a rock on a small island in the middle of the lake, as silent and still as the mirror like surface of the water. His eyes were closed as he meditated, He wore his captain's haori and had both Bahamut and Genbu (now vacant) strapped to his left hip. He was so still that he was practically a part of the scenery. However, in spite of his apparent tranquility, his mind was more fraught with turmoil than ever. Even though it was a week after the incident with his parents, Tokemaru feared for his own sanity, and so he came here to meditate. It seemed to work, as his mood was gradually getting better. Tokemaru sighed as he lost himself in the sounds of nature that surrounded him.

 Strolling through the Seireitei, Hisoka looked around at the beautiful sakura trees and smiled.Even though it was getting late for them to be in bloom, she’d stumbled into an entire meadow of them. The sunlight glistened on the lake as she walked towards the water’s edge. A small cut on her cheek was fading fast. She knew that she’d never be accepted into this society and that the attacks would become more hostile, but there was very little she could do. To the Shinigmai, she was expendable and, if she went into Ressureccion against any of the soldiers, she would be disposed of like a bad dog. Bending down to touch the warm water, Hisoka cupped some of the crystalline water between her hands and splashed it on her face. The blood rolled off with the water as it trickled off her chin. She wiped it away with her kimono and looked at her reflection in the water as the ripples began to clear and a small smile crept onto her face. It was at that moment of brief emotion that she saw something in the water. Reflecting on the lake was a captain’s haori, she cursed herself for not having sourced the reiatsu before then. Looking up, not trusting her pesquisa, she squinted to see the man sitting on a rock in the middle island. A small shiver of mistrust and fear went through her body, the man officially creeped her out. “No, no…” she said, standing up, her black kimono flowing out around her as her reiatsu spiked sharply like one startled, “Oh hell no! Not you!” She held out her hand and loosed a bala at the rock beneath where he was meditating in an attempt to startle him out of his mindset. {OOC:}

 "Aaaah!" Tokemaru cried out as the rock he was sitting on suddenly exploded and threw him out of his meditation and into a dimension of pissed off that he didn't want to be in right now. Tokemaru got up and looked around for the culprit until his eyes found Hisoka and he glared at her. Tokemaru remembered their fight and how she had allowed him to leave with his honor intact but now here she was disturbing his meditation and shouting at him. "What the hell is your problem huh!?"

 Deaf to his words and already on edge as it was, Hisoka let the small Zanpakuto slip from the small hidden pocket inside the sleeve of her dark kimono. The wind blew up around her as she raised her reiatsu sharply. Her dark hair whipped dangerously around her pale face, her green eyes narrowed to slits, like a cat's as her reiatsu continued to climb. It was a little unstable and, at this stage it would have put a soldier on the ground if he'd been caught unawares, but she was just surprised at how this man was changed. He was different than before and the way his familiar reiatsu mixed with this foreign one that seemed to emanating from one of the two Zanpakuto that he carried on his waist. She’d noticed the moment he’d arisen from the ground that there were two instead of one and this served to push her to a much more alert state of mind. “You…” she growled, glaring right back at him and gripping the dragon hilt of her Zanpakuto, “It’s because of you that I have to come here, it’s because of you and my stupid inability to finish you off the last time that forced me to come here after being forced out of Hueco Mundo as an outlaw. YOU’RE the reason I hate my every waking minute in this world!” she screamed over at him, her reiatsu reaching its peak in her unreleased form. Unlike with the soldiers who’d attacked her, she wasn’t holding back with him, already aware of what he was capable of from their previous fight. Channeling all of her reiatsu, which was lashing out in dangerous azure tendrils that licked around her body like a flame, downwards into her feet, she bent her knees a little, her eyes focused right on him. Kicking off from where she was, she disappeared into a swift and deadly sonido, aiming the tip of her Zanpakuto straight for his chest.

 Tokemaru sidestepped to the left of the attack and drew out both of his zanpakuto in retaliation to Hisoka's attack. Genbu was in his left hand, poised at Hisoka's neck. Bahamut was in Tokemaru's right hand and was poised to stab her through the heart. As usual there was no bloodlust in Tokemaru's stangely soft looking red eyes, the angle of Hisoka's perspective on his face showed off the scar over his right eye "It's not my fault that you left the battlefield when you could have finished me off." Tokemaru remarked as his eyes met hers, "If you hate me so much than why didn't you kill me in the hospital? I wasn't in the state to fight back, so why attack me now when I'm fully healed?"

 Hisoka growled and jumped out of both of the swords’ reach. She crouched like a cat, close to the ground and glared silently up at him. There were more scars on the man than she’d previously remembered but she couldn’t stop but look at the Zanpakuto in his left hand. The blade of it was finely crafted and shimmered as it moved through the air. The fact was that she was scared by the man at this stage and that she was going to exert plenty of energy just warding him off. Whatever had happened to him over the past two years had made her suspicious and wary of him and, she wasn’t going to waste much time getting straight into the fight. Her lips hardly moved as she continued to glare at him from her position, “Disparar,” she whispered under her breath, a shockwave being sent out from around her as her Zanpakuto went into its release form. Though nothing visibly had happened to the katana its’ self, her reiatsu had risen to another level. Disappearing, leaving behind the sound of static, she appeared directly behind him, holding her Zanpakuto in a reverse grip and aiming it behind her back straight for his spine. She was faster than before, but, if he believed that she was fast now, he had two more levels to experience. It would be like a case of déjà vu for the captain once she went into ressureccion. It had been quite some time but she was more than enjoying the prospects of killing this thing that had come in place of the annoying, snivelling captain that she’d fought before with his sickening speeches about his honour and making her pity him. He was to blame for everything. She thought about his words, she couldn’t have made a move for him in the hospital because of all of the others and, like she’d said, she’d nowhere else to go. She was outlawed from her own seat and partly blamed for destroying the ranks of the Espada, shaming them by not finishing off the boy. She also had not wanted to defeat him in an injured state for that was a hollow victory, now that he was fully healed, she could kill him and restore some of her injured pride.

 Having predicted that she would reappear behind him, Tokemaru spun around just in time to parry and redirect her attack using Genbu. Still, now that her zanpakuto was in it's released form, he would have to step it up a notch as well or he would die. Tokemaru's eyes never once left Hisoka's, he could plainly see that their last encounter had sparked quite a bit of hatred for the young captain. "Spred your wings, Bahamut!" Tokemaru jumped back from Hisoka and sheathed Genbu before releasing his shikai. There was a flash of light and the shikai materialized into the sword and mirror shield. Tokemaru said nothing and waited for Hisoka to make a move.

 Pain flashed in Tokemaru's eyes when she asked him about Genbu, who was now a free roaming spirit. Tokemaru had a feeling that she would be suprised by his change in weaponry but it still hurt to have that topic brought up. Genbu was a part of him, connected with a bond only shared by shinigami and their spirits, when it was cut, Tokemaru felt hot searing pain on every possible level and the following silence almost robed him of whatever sanity he had left over. "I am and I'm not at the same time, it's a long story" Tokemaru smiled sadly at his little joke.

 ”Stop TALKING!!” she growled, hot tears springing to her eyes, “I gave up everything because of my decision that day, I should have killed you then and there. At least as an Espada, I was somewhat accepted into a group! At least I felt a part of something!” Looking down at her Zanpakuto, making a stupid error that, if she were in her normal, calculating mindset she’d have never taken her eyes off of him or the new katana that was pointing at her. “Bahamut eh?” she mused, arching an eyebrow, “A black tortoise overcome by the king of dragons,” she tightened her grip on her own Yuin Moosa's dragon-shaped hilt. The fire being breathed from its mouth created the unusually shaped blade of the sword. “That scar, where did you get it?” She moved a step to his left, turning her right shoulder to him as if to move her back foot again in another step, she kept him talking, trying to get him to drop his guard so she could finish him off. As she moved, she grasped her Zanpakuto directly in front of her chest, the faint whisper of “Asesinar,” could be heard. Her shoulder perfectly hid the characteristic glimmer that could be seen when she used this section of her release, her right foot hovered above the air for a second before she used it to pivot on and sent a bala at him with her free right hand, disappearing into another sonido, she appeared above him, turning downwards to face him, her Zanpakuto slashing in a downwards arc aimed at his right shoulder. “I’m doomed to a life with you kind because of you!”

 Tokemaru winced at Hisoka's words, they were filled with sorrow and anger and all manner of emotions that were all directed at him because of his momentary obsession with winning back his honor. Honor which he was willing to challenge Hisoka for the first time around. Tokemaru absorbed the bala into his mirror shield and looked around for Hisoka when she vanished from his vision. When Tokemaru herd Hisoka's voise above him, condemning him for everything she had been forced to suffer through as a result of his decision to stop fighting him that day. Tokemaru looked up at her, his eyes temporarily flashed with sadness and rage that was similar to her own as he shifted back ever so slightly. Hisoka's blade sliced through his hayori and the top bart fell away, revealing the numerous and horendous scars and covered his chest, stomach, back, and arms. "I got the scar on my face on at the same time and place I got the rest of these."

 Landing not too far from him, she pulled her Zanpakuto back before it hit the earth. Her eyes rested on the ground and travelled slowly up his body, watching as the haori fell, exposing his many wounds. Something stirred in the pit of her stomach, she’d never seen that many scars on a living body before. Not even those shinigami that she’d done experimentation on would have survived that amount of scarring. “What are you...” Her mind flashed back to the second he’d looked up at her. His eyes opened up like windows to his soul. She straightened up and took a step backwards, “Fight me!” she cried, her eyes stung with something she’d never felt before. Blinking back the tears, she held her hand out in and began to charge a cero, the energy from her reiatsu gathering into a single point in her hand, the ball growing larger and more concentrated with her anger. “I didn’t kill you when you were injured then, I did not kill you in the hospital because I do not prey upon the weak or the injured, I fight with honour of my own and pride of my own that’s why I let you walk away. NOW LOOK AT ME!” a tear rolled down her cheek and moved onto her mask, travelling down onto one of the lower fangs. She held her Zankpakuto in her right hand now, it hanging limply by her side as she aimed the cero at him and let it loose, as well as all her pain and anger.  {OOC:}

 Tokemaru raised his shield as the Cero flew towards him, filled with Hisoka's emotions. He was aware the the shield had the power to absorb energy from enemy projectiles from what he had learned during his fight with Kage. Now it was time to see just how much power the shield could handle. The cero slammed into the mirror shield, pushing Tokemaru back a few feet but he was able to keep his footing and willed the shield to absorb the cero. The energy blast was soon flowing into the shield rather than pushing against it, and soon the entire cero and all it's energy was absorbed and contained inside the shield. "Alright then, alright then," said Tokemaru as he brought his sword to bare, "I am looking at you Hisoka, having felt your emotions, I will reply with my own. You want a fight, you've got one." Tokemaru's seemingly mellow tone suddenly became a battlecry filled with two years worth of bottled up rage and frustration, loss and sorrow, and hate. His reatsu suddenly skyrocketed as he dashed towards Hisoka with a powerful horizontal strike.

 Her teary eyes blurred her vision and slowed her thought processes. She had been shocked to see this new Zanpakuto, if one could call it a true Zanpakuto, absorb her cero. The sheer magnitude and energy that was in that cero was enough to crush a lieutenant many times over and yet, here was this… thing… that ate the reiatsu just like it was some pathetic fly buzzing around annoying him. Her reaction time was down due to her distraction with the tears and she slid back a moment too late. The cold blade bit through her kimono and gi, slicing into her upper ribs. Blood splattered outwards from the impact. “Kisama,” she spat, narrowing her eyes, she knew that her battle technique had gone out the door the moment she’d seen the man and felt his reiatsu. If she was to look at herself this instant, she would see a brash, impulsive, stupid girl instead of the trained killer she had been prior to their battle all those years ago. “Kill me,” she said, glaring at him “You kill me, or I kill you, I’m giving you the option. At least you can live on in this forsaken place but put an end to this pain,” she growled, blood pouring down from her wound . “Whatever the outcome, this fight cannot be a soft one, go all out in your efforts because I do not die to weak opponents…” With that, ignoring the pain that jolted through her nerves, she sent two balas at him in quick succession. Both were aimed at either side of his body but away from the shield. She was curious about its power and jumped into the air, bringing her Zanpakuto in a downwards vertical cut directly for the shield. {OOC:}

 Tokemaru's eyes went wide when his strike connected and everything seemed to stop as his mind suddenly went into overdrive. Where was the strong woman who had so easily bested both him and Kuchinawa two years ago and spared his life out of pity? Where was the proud warrior Tokemaru had faced so long ago who seemed to be able to analyze and neutralize all of his techniques? What had HAPPEND to her during these past two years that caused her skills to deteriorated so badly that she didn't even move to block such a simple attack? It didn't make any sense to Tokemaru that he would be able to gain the upper hand so easily against this person. "I'm not going to kill you Hisoka," said Tokemaru as he raised his shield and absorbed the balas and them brought it up to block Hisoka's strike. The mirror shield was every bit as strong and durable as Gengu's shield, it would take a lot more than Hisoka's strike to scratch it. "This isn't the Hisoka I fought so long ago, where is she? where is the number two Espada who fought me with honor and pride?" Tokemaru looked into her eyes as if searching for that part of her. It was unclear to Tokemaru as to why he seemed to care so much, Hisoka's current state just seemed so...tragic. "If this is your best then fighting you is a waste of time better spent meditating, where is the power? The Pride? Where is the Hisoka who bested me so long ago? I want to fight her, not you."
