Creatures: Precursor Golem x4
Other Spells: Rusted Relic x4 Contagion Clasp x4 Withstand Death x4 Emerge Unscathed x4 Golem Foundry x3 Soul Parry x2 Titan Forge x2 Everflowing Chalice x2 Prototype Portal x2 Tel-Jilad Defiance x2 Elixer of Immortality x2 Mimic Vat x1 Semblance Anvil x1
Lands: Plains x11 Forest x10 Razerverge Thicket x2 ---------------------------------------------------------- This deck is slow, but if it picks up, it is quite a foe. Lots of weaknesses, like it's speed, no flying, no good creature removal, and it's main strategy could be used against it, but I kind of like it.
It will have a huge makeover when New Phyrexia comes out, but until then, I'm open to any and all ideas (even ones that involve New Phyrexia).

That would be a good idea, but this deck is pretty much old news now... I am currently running a lot more splicers and attempting to make birthing pod a bigger player. I'll update in a moment. Thanks for the idea though.

Here's my current Golem deck:
Creatures: Blade Splicer x2 Adaptive Automaton x3 Master Splicer x3 Wing Splicer x2 Phyrexian Metamorph x2 Precursor Golem x4 Maul Splicer x2
Non-Creatures: Everflowing Chalice x2 Emerge Unscathed x3 Mutagenic Growth x4 Apostle's Blessing x4 Tezzeret's Gambit x2 Birthing Pod x3 Karn Liberated x1
Lands: Glacial Fortress x3 Sunpetal Grove x1 (Need more) Plains x11 Island x3 Forest x5 ---------------------------------------------------------------- What I like about this deck is that it is faster than the other version, but I still have problems with keeping up with most opponents. I like the idea of Birthing Pod, but I need more stuff.
I'm thinking about cutting a Master Splicer for another Adaptive Automaton, taking out Karn for something else (maybe another Tezzeret's Gambit), and dropping the Everflowing Chalice for Steel Overseer. I would also like to add a couple of Sun Titan's as I saw them in a similar deck and thought it was pretty cool, but I'm not sure if it is practical in my deck.
Thoughts?

I suggest that if you can play lands well enough you can run Kozilek, Butcher of truth.
yeah he's an eldrazi, but when he hits the field you draw 4, and he gets annihlator 4. If not him i suggest running Darksteel Colossus. I run both in my golem deck.

Land isn't plentiful enough in this deck to run either, but I appreciate the thought.

karn is apparently starting to become a 1 of in type 2 decks because he removal and he's hard to kill. Since your running white I would recommend tempered steal if your going aggro also solemn simulacrum is a golem and a solid creature. Just something to think about

I think the issue right now for me is that there is a lot of cards I would like, but I don't know what to cut.

I really enjoyed the golem cards, but they all seemed to high-costed for me...and it looks like you're experiencing much the same thing. I think the two big things with your deck are 1.) slow early game and 2.) clogged high mana slots. Honestly, I'm almost tempted to tell you to completely drop most of the green from the deck, keeping just Sunpetal Groves and Birthing Pods, though I do like your other green cards in the deck. 2-color is just that much easier to run, since Alara is out of Standard, and this looks to be a Standard deck. Taking a look at your newer decklist, here are some suggestions:
Creatures: I would drop 1 Precursor and the Phyrexian Metamorphs for sure. Grab some colored myrs (Copper, Gold, and Silver) for the early game blockers and mana ramping. Solemn Simulacrum could also help the ramp and, bonus points, it's also a golem. If you want something that acts like a Metamorph, try the cheaper Phantasmal Image. You can grab a 3P/T golem for 2 mana, regardless of what happens to the Splicer you copied (if the Splicer is anything but a Master Splicer, you're not getting further benefits anyways), or grab extra mana by copying a Myr or Simulacrum, or just copy something nasty your opponent just played.
Non-Creatures: Emerge Unscathed and Apostles Blessing do pretty much the same thing. I would use one or the other (my vote goes to the Blessing...which you should use to punch through your opponent's defenses more than protect your creatures), and maybe only 2 of them, and fill extra slots with Oblivion Ring or some kind of counterspell. Everflowing Chalice should go (too mana-intensive to make it worth while), and I would replace Tezzeret's Gambit with Preordain and/or Gitaxian Probe to help speed your early game. Planeswalker-wise, dropping Karn seems solid. New Jace could work, but he's just another card in your 4-mana slot, and he's stupid-expensive.
Land: If you go the greenless route, Kabira Crossroads might be helpful to offset the Birthing Pod life-loss. Other than that, you already noted you need more Sunpetals, and that would be my only real suggestion here other than, if the myrs and Solemns work out, dropping down to no more than 22 land.

Here's my most updated Golem deck: Creatures: Blade Splicer x4 Adaptive Automaton x4 Master Splicer x3 Wing Splicer x2 Phyrexian Metamorph x2 Precursor Golem x4 Sun Titan x1 (only own 1) Non-Creatures: Emerge Unscathed x3 Mutagenic Growth x4 Apostle's Blessing x4 Remember the Fallen x3 Birthing Pod x4 Lands: Glacial Fortress x3 Sunpetal Grove x1 (Need more) Plains x10 Island x3 Forest x5 ---------------------------------------------------------------- It plays even better now. Still needing some tweaks. I was thinking Steel Overseer for a nice early game creature. But I don't know what should be dropped... Beloved, I think with this new build, the Metamorphs should stay. When I go into Sun Titan, I can bring back Blade Splicer to birth into Metamorph into Sun Titan to bring back Blade Splicer... It is actually nice enough to make me consider putting more copies into this deck (mostly because I have 3 costers that can be birthed into it, whereas I cannot with Phantasmal Image). I am also going to drop an Emerge Unscathed for another Sun Titan when I get another, but the protection is a big runner and has saved me many times over many games. Not to mention Emerge is good for both defense and offense. I do like a lot of your other suggestions, and I'm considering a side board that includes: Mana Leak x4, Ponder x4, Revoke Existence x4, and other good support cards. Any new suggestions?

I have to admit, I now see why you put so many protection spells in the deck. I didn't realize that Precursor Golem's thing about one target, all target meant it hits every golem you have, not only the ones it created. In that case, I definitely support them as pseudo-counters and even further help punching through an opponent's forces. Same with Mutagenic Growth.

Yeah, he's a double-edged sword, that's kind of why I like him... I just play tested it a bunch yesterday, and it works fantastically, actually won a five person free for all with it.
There was a Knight deck (toughest one by far, but once I got protection, I won).
Another was running a really strange combo deck, but dealt with playing creatures that returned to his hand with confusion in the ranks. (He did that once and died for it)
Then there was an iffy Myr deck (I think it wasn't built all too well, it took too long for it to build up a force. Turn round and he still only had the three creature he had round three.)
Then the last one was a White Soldier deck, pretty basic and simple one. (took him out with the Knights XD).
I wish they had a card in standard that allowed me to shuffle my graveyard back into my deck. Then this deck would be even better...
