Hello! EstoPerpetua here! I know that life can be hectic, so many of us have not been posting as much as we should i.e. at all. So in order to promote activity I will be hosting a contest. I will have more information later on, but I just want to gauge interest before I start this thing out. I have sent out an announcement pertaining to this, and this thread is here so you can voice your probably participation, questions, comments, and concerns.
In addition to voting in the poll, please actually voice your opinions in a reply.

*pops in* I might enter. Watching Tron yesterday kind of inspired me. But I'm in the middle of writing a Pokemon (glitch) fanfiction so I'm not really sure if I'll ever get around to it; I usually put off things that have deadlines instead of things I can just do anytime. sweatdrop
But I was kind of wondering what the theme would be. It really depends on the theme, because certain things I cannot write (or am really bad at writing, like poetry. I'm all poerty'd out. My last good one was Megalomania.) or refuse to write (like romance of any kind; I'll turn it into something else by having one of them die. It's so fun to kick the dog like that...) so yeah.
I hope many many people enter this contest, even if I don't. heart

I can always make room in my time to write, but it depends exactly what the contest is. Last contest for poetry I really felt no inspiration to write a poem.

I see.... Any contests you guys would like to participate in? Because really I'm open to anything. I would have it where each person wrote their own thing, but then it would be harder on me to judge than I know it already will be. I may end up using the topic we got from the last poll on contests we had. Is that a favorable option?
Oh, and, before I forget, thanks so much for posting you guys!

I would love a contest of any kind. :3 Personally I just think it's fun to have a prompt or guidance of some sort of and have to run with it and create something you're proud of and might be able to get some acclaim.
I do think story writing contests are more fun, though.
My one request is that the due date would be either in mid or late June; I think that way there could be more participation, since students who are not taking summer classes would be done with classwork by then. I know that would make it easier on me to find the time to write something of quality.

I'd love a contest... my computer was being stupid and I clicked the wrong option sweatdrop I seem to be making a habit of that... I was going to click on the yes one xp
Anyways, a contest of any kind would be good... I seem to be in a bit of a creative slump at the moment and it may be just the thing I need to get back into business.

Sorry I haven't put anything up for this. School just ended, and I've been busy. Never fear though! There will be a contest of sorts put up by Sunday. (Probably sooner, but I just wanted to give myself space to allow for the unpredictable).
Be sure to watch for it. I'll send out an announcement as soon as it is put up.
