Alexis's room was a simple room. It had wide, arching ceilings with few walls. The room seemed airy and cavernous, and that was helped along by ceiling to floor windows situated on the west wall, allowing Alexis a superb view of the setting sun. The floor was carpeted with a pale white carpet with silvery blue rugs scattered in strategic spots. The walls were painted a pale blue as well, and the trim was white. The darkest color in her room would have to be her curtains. They were full drapes of navy blue velvet, heavy enough to block the sun when needed. Elegant furniture made of cherry sat in the dining area while in the den there were white settees, heavily cushioned with pillows of the same silver blue covering them. In the den was a medium sized fireplace, just large enough to keep her rooms warm. Outside her windows was a balcony with a simple iron railing. It overlooked the barrack and gave easy access to the older trees nearby. Alexis walked into her rooms, nudging the door closed with her hip. Heading towards the small kitchen area, she shrugged out of her coat, draping it over a bar stool in the kitchen and went to grab a glass of water. Sipping at it slowly, she walked to the windows, throwing them wide open to let the sounds of the birds and fresh air in and walked back to the den. She settled into one of her lounge chairs, head resting on the curled arm. She placed her water glass on a small table nearby and closed her eyes, listening.

The guards walked up to Alexis's room and took post at her door. Aericel knocked on the door waiting for his mentor to answer. He began wondering why she brought him here, but he couldn't come up with anymore logical explanation. So much happened today and his head was lost in a pool of thoughts. He ignored his daze and focused on the here and now. That was all he could do for the time being.

A low growl shivered through the air as a wolf walked towards them. Its fur was mist colored and seemed to shimmer as the light hit it, making the edges of its body seem vague and undefined. It reared up, letting its fore paws turn the door handle and trotted inside, motioning for Aericel to follow. Once inside, it led Aericel to the den where it hopped up onto one of the settees. It sat there, staring at Aericel with icy blue eyes.

The guards waited at the door and Aericel walked in behind the wolf. He watched as Alexis stared him down. He stood and awaited orders. He figured there must have been some reason she brought him here.

Alexis studied Aericel, re-evaluating him. With another low grow she shifted to human form, long hair forming a blue cover over her. She still said nothing, content to continue studying him. Alexis flicked her fingers almost idly and water appeared in the glass on the table next to her. She picked it up and drank slowly, all the time watching Aericel.

Aericel was calmed and composed simply waiting on Alexis's orders. He wondered why she was looking him over. Aericel's leg was still in bad shape but he didn't think about it at all. His breathes were calm and collected, and he watched Alexis as well just encase any sudden moves were made to strike.

With a sudden shake of her head and a sigh, Alexis leaned forward, putting down her glass. "Come here," she ordered, crooking two fingers at Aericel. As she waited for him to limp over, she stood and opened a chest that lay hidden by the window. She pulled out bandages and a long wooden splint. Walking back to the front door, opening it to look at the guards. "Bring me blood broth," she commanded, and then closed the door, walking back to the den.

Aericel stepped toward Alexis and watched as she pulled out some supplies. The guards nodded and did as Alexis told them. They rushed off to get blood broth.

Alexis knelt on the floor next to Aericel after making him sit on the settee. "This," she warned him, "might hurt." Without any further ado, she twisted his leg straight, holding up the wooden splint next to his limb and wrapping it tightly with the bandages. She stood up, grabbed another glass and poured a healthy dose of whiskey in it, handing it to Aericel.

He winced as he he felt his limb being snapped back into place. He took the glass and drank it. He was hoping it would numb the pain faster, but it would take some time to kick in first. The guards returned with the blood broth handing it to Alexis.

Alexis nodded at the guards and then handed the blood broth to Aericel. "Drink." She stood up and sat in Aericel's previous seat, drinking some more water as she waited for him to finish.

Aericel excepted it and watched as the guards returned to their posts outside of the room. Aericel drank practically gulping it down trying to use it to distract the pain from his leg. He set the container down once he finished and returned his attention to Alexis.

"Better?" Alexis idly pulled over one of knives and began to sharpen it, the movements slow and rhythmic. "Try standing," she suggested.

Aericel nodded as he felt the pain numb down. He stood up and slowly walked around to get used to it. He looked at Alexis and bowed with gratitude.

Alexis merely gestured towards the side, where a navy blue drapes hung. Once pulled aside, a curved alcove was revealed. It was a comfortable place, decorated in the same colors of silvery blue and white that adorned the rest of the rooms. Windows were everywhere, and a long, cushioned bench followed the curve of window and wall, offering a place to rest and read. From the ceiling hung globes of different colored glass, the only concession of change. When the globes were lit, the room had a rainbow feel. Bookcases were everywhere and a small writing desk sat out of the way, paper and ink resting atop it.
"You have a new aspect of training," Alexis said from behind Aericel. "Obviously, as you will have learned just recently, training the body is not enough. You must train your mind." She stood up, walking to books, her hand tracing the spines almost affectionately. "Find a book, read it. We will discuss it when you are done."
