He is the second child of four. When he was a kid, he always was on the rebellious side, always getting into fights at school and ditching classes as much as he could. When he turned 17, he's parent had enough of his bad behaviour and sent him live with his paternal grandfather who was the foreman of a mine on the other side of the country. Although he hated his parents at first for sending him directly to hell, he ended up loving it. It wasn't as much the mining that he loved but the transformation of the raw ore into a refine one and then transforming it into tools and jewelry. After four years living over there, he returned to his parents house, where his maternal grandmother was now living. The two of them were total opposite and clashed on separated occasion.
However, they both have a deep love and respect for the other. When Gladice's health started to deteriorate because of the bad air of the city, she slammed her cane on his head and yelled at him to find her a new place to live in the country. Little did he knew that after finding a nice village, would she force him to move with her. Of course, he knew that it was because she was lonely and also to let him move out of his parents place to find one of his own. This was 4 years ago.
After moving the the island with his Grandmother, he started his small smithery. However, forging tools had always been a boring job. What he really liked was doing jewelry, which is why he also opened a small, but successful jewelry store. While Living on the island, he met two very important people. Kade and Ellie. He spent over two years trying to decide who he really wanted to be with, finally choosing Eleonore....
Yoakim kept going as the very typical, traditional family father. Trying his best to raise his children, Wilhelm and Rune, whom he had officially adopted, and to be as nice to his wife, Eleanor and her sister Blair, as he could. He is, however, slowly turning a bit more strick on Rune and a bit less on Wilhelm. Oh, not because one isn't really his child while the other is! Oh, no! Simply because Rune is a girl and is now going to school and he just knows that all those little boys around her are little perverts in becoming who just wish to impregnate her even if they don't know it yet D<
Perhaps, a bit stereotypical of him, he has gotten the little family a dog, whom they unoriginal named Duke and, of course, it's a Golden Retriver.
Other than that, nothing changed much. He reopened the blacksmith shop after finding out that someone ha been using it while he was gone. He never could find the culprit, however. His relationships with everyone else stayed the same, being more focus on his own family than anything else. Him and Kade DID get to a certain understanding. Mainly that, while not really being friends anymore, they didn't needed to hate each other that much and it would be better for everyone's sanity that they would just, ignore each other when in the same place at the same time. ℓıĸεs →xoxo❥ Mushrooms

ღ History: The third child of Allen Vatonage and Sarah Laurel, Ellie is a creative young woman. Her childhood was a little rocky due to her elder sister's antics when she was just a child. Because of that she was a quiet and timid teenager with a very well developed artistic talent. Though being sheltered as she was, Ellie had quite the naive mind... and her parents didn't help much there. That was what brought some problems when she was 17. She met a youth in a town activity and it ended on her being drugged and raped by him. It took her a while to get back on her feet, especially when she learned she was pregnant from that time. In turn Eleanor decided to study as a lawyer, following her parents footsteps and raise her daughter, Rune, by herself.
These days, she's still living at Nirvani with her younger sister Blaire, and her daughter Rune. Her parents decided to move to the city for the time being to keep track of their law firm, while her other two siblings are making their own lives away from their hometown. The girls are financially supported by their parents since Ellie is still studying to become a lawyer.
The peace Ellie was living in changed for the better when she and Yoakim finally acted on the reality both of them ignored to keep their friend Kade unhurt. At least until a bold move had the couple eloping and moving to Canada with Rune. It was't long until the woman found out she was pregnant and gave birth to Wilhelm. Her stay in Canada was short lived though when she was called back to Nirvani to care for.
Along with Yoakim, Eleanor settled into the role of typical wife and mother. Including a dog! She's grown to be more mature, taking care of Rune and Wilhelm, who've grown up a lot during these last two years. The young woman has finished her studies, now working as an intern at her parent's law firm. Her relationships with others hasn't really changed much, her time being spent more on her husband and children than anything else, especially since Blaire left. Some extensive therapy on Kade's end managed to get the two in a state that didn't foresee murder, and they're actually getting along now. Another thing to tell is her relationship with Romane. After the woman held a gun to her husband for a few good hours of course, and then setting down to talk, had the two women keep a good friendship.
ღ Personality: A once shy creature, Ellie has grown up some since her daughter was born. She's still quiet and creative, but she's much more cautious now, and down-to-earth. Of course with two girls to take care of, she kind of has to be. The girl isn't one to easily open up to others, but it doesn’t mean she won’t try.

◊ History: A curious child, this is Ellie's daughter. The girl is the splitting image of her mother, which under the circumstances is a stroke of luck. She's pretty open and tries to get to know everyone, even if just by babbles. Rune is one of those kids that you just have to smile once you see her.
Living in the island was an enjoyable thing for the girl, blissfully unaware of the drama her mother and soon-to-be step-father had going around. Of course to her Yoakim would be the father figure she would look up to, considering... The lovebirds bold move was nothing but an adventure to the girl, enjoying the ride.
This little bundle of joy is now six years old and as adorable as ever! As a baby, Rune doesn't give her mother any trouble and tries to help out anywhere she can. She's a bit quieter now than before, though we could blame her half brother on that. Wilhelm's arrival was an easy thing to go through with the girl, their interactions not so much. His constant crying anytime she was near had her understanding she should be quiet, so the girl is an adorable little mouse wherever she's at. Before the skip, she was starting preschool. Right now she's in the first grade, and free since Gaston stopped stealing her away when she began to talk in complete sentences and cry and yell whenever he took her away. She's also starting to take some dance classes, and seems to be very good at it.

That might have to do with the fact that he is a little spoiled... or maybe witht that both Rune and Blaire love to dress him up as a girl when Yoakim isn't looking... Either way, the boy can now walk and talk... or rather, run and scream. He'll only be starting school the year after, but that didn't stop him from being kidnapped friends with Peter Tamaki and Muse Sonata. Sure, at first, it was very scary! But after a while, anyone would get used to the horde of servants doing everything your 3year old self wants....
