Redfa Whenever I tell someone I am learning Japanese...and the only words the ask to know are profanity... Can someone tell me some or give me a source?! Really? I wonder what they would even use them for... This one is a pretty good list. Although I wouldn't use most of these with anyone I still wanted to be friends with afterward. Common swear words are "kuso" (s**t) and chikushou (beast). Most of the time it's not necessary to learn insults though. If you watch a lot of Japanese media, they're generally so common that you can't miss them. xd

Who knew Japanese and Persian had so many word sounds in common? XD

XD Generally there are not many but the sentence form is the same e.g. they say: Gaia cool is. just like in Persian : Gaia Bahaal ast. there are some words with Persian root in Japanese but they're mainly words which were in English and in Japanese they used it , Like: Bazaar,Pajamas,Pashmina,Caravan,.... and also when we want to say Karateka or Mangaka....we say Karatekar or Mangakar...kar means work...

So I'm guessing Persian's Subject-Object-Verb ("Jane the ball kicked" not "Jane kicked the ball") or SOV, like Japanese then? English is SVO, and I'm not sure if there are any VSO languages, though that would be interesting. I didn't know pajamas came from Persian. ^-^ *goes to look up the etymology of all those words. Oh yeah, is "Persian" another name for Farsi, or Urdu? I know they both are spoken around that area...

Since the word Persian was used in European languages since ancient times I use Persian.... Urdu in Persia means "Camp" and it's the officiall language of Pakistan ...and is a kinda mixture of Persian and Indian languages. it was so-called because Iranian and Indian traders set up camp in the region and used this language....!

I'd imagine the first time you used it, it felt weird, right? (I apologize for any missing i's, my i key is a little stiff.)

Mhmm... sometimes when I realize too late that I'm talking to a "cultured classy wealthy Japanese girl" (lol), it gets awkward. (I worked at women's college for wealthy Japanese girls.) But with guys, they roll around on the floor and soon die of laughter. It's quite tragic. Haha! But it beats the shy avoid-eye-contact behavior upon meeting! After they are all done rolling around and dying on the floor, we can skip straight into casual conversation. My specialty!
"Omg! Where did you learn that! Haha, you sound like Japanese!"

Oh, and don't worry about the keyboard problem! I used to have a problem with my "o"s, so I understand!! (Plus, I have a problem at the moment too. My English is really, really bad today...)
"N! Dnt d that!" Wut? LOL

emotion_yatta Well that's good! May I ask how long you have been practicing/learning Japanese? I know it's a bit irrelevant, but I would like to know so I could have some motivation. I just started really, and noticed all that there is to learn.
