This is about as cranky as I've been in months, and that's because this has been the most annoying 48 hours in recent memory for me. Wanna know why? Count with me, here:
1. I went to campus to double check what my summer student loan limit was, and got informed by the smug lady behind the desk that I had been dropped from my classes because I didn't turn in a financial aid form that no one informed me was needed, or indeed that it even existed. 2. When I went to re-register, having filled out the mysterious form, I found out that the statistics class I need no longer has any slots. So.... just got another semester tacked on before I finish my degree. I won't be graduating until 2012 now. 3. When I got in my car, the juice I'd brought with me was hot. Not warm, hot. I put the cap back on the bottle and drove home. When I got home, I threw the juice in my purse, so that I'd have an extra hand free to carry books and groceries. It wasn't till I was halfway up the stairs that I felt something warm and sticky running down my jeans.... 4. That purse that I reluctantly spent $80 on because it was exactly what I've been looking for and not finding, for years? Totally ruined. Also a book, and my Disney annual pass. 5. I found out that the state of Florida, in its infinite wisdom, has suspended my driver's license for no longer carrying insurance on a car I no longer own. Yay, another clusterfluff to sort out! I love the DMV! 6. My cell phone, which I thought had been spared the wrath of the juice, went dead in the middle of a conversation with my sister, who's been impossible to catch up with for weeks.
Think that's enough? Now we move on to today:
7. Waited at the bank for ages to get a statement of non-ownership notarized for the DMV. By the time I got to AAA to renew/replace my pass, they'd been closed. For five minutes. 8. Marched in to T-Mobile and replaced my phone. Total cost, not counting mail-in rebate that never works out: $206. Total wrecked crap in my purse: $286. 9. My contacts? Text messages? Other important info? Not retrievable. 10. Oh, did I mention that the electronic key for the Prius no longer works? Replacement cost: anywhere from $150-$300. That new computer we've been talking about? Not happening, at least not now. 11. Boy am I in a bad mood. Hopefully this essay quiz won't be too bad... 2 questions, yay! Analyze two poems: one about a guy finding a dead doe in the road, still carrying a living fawn, and one other poem about soldiers getting gassed in World War I. Hey, I'm normally okay with this, but is it too much to ask for some nice Winnie the Pooh to analyze on a bad day?

*hugs* I hate times like that. It seems like bad things happen in clusters. I just wen through one recently but then something good happened yesterday so I think that might have broken mine. I hope things turn around soon Renee. <3
