8th Division Information

Information Disclosure: "The 8th Division is a squadron specializing specifically in the field of central intelligence. The division is responsible for acquiring and gathering information, and relaying this information over to the 1st Division Captain of the Gotei, and the members of the Central 46."

General Data Gathered;

• Possible individuals that may pose a threat to the Soul Society, and information about these individuals.

• Malicious events that are aimed to cause harm to either the Soul Society or it's inhabitants.

• Formation of hollows or the evolutionary states of high level (or ranking) hollows. In addition the tracking, and monitoring of these specific hollows.

• Investigate possible threats from within the Soul Society, and monitor individuals suspected of 'suspicious' behavior.

• Apprehension, and capture of suspected individuals labeled as a danger to public security.

• Submit all information regarding judicial persecution to the Central 46, and act as bailiffs in a way for them. (because of this the 8th division is extremely knowledgeable in the Soul Society laws).


Mission Statement: "We act as the Soul Society's first wave of defense. We accomplish what others cannot accomplish and go where others cannot go."

We carry out our mission by;

• Collecting information that reveals the plans, intentions and capabilities of our adversaries and provides the basis for decision and action.

• Producing timely analysis that provides insight, warning and opportunity to the Captain-Command and Central 46 who are both in charged with protecting and making decisions on the Soul Society's behalf.

• Conducting covert action as instructed by the Captain-Commander, Central 46, or 8th Division Captain to preempt threats or achieve Soul Society policy objectives.

Rank Accession:

All accession through the ranks need to be documented, and processed. In addition if you would like to switch your position with in the division you may submit paperwork to go from a desk job to a field agent (or vis versa). Basically anything in need of superior opinion or verdict should be properly documented, and left to either the 3rd Seat, Lieutenant, or Captain.

When handing in documentation include the following (should be sent to either 3rd seat, Lieutenant, or Captain via PM).
