expansive open field used for sparring and training.
It is here that our young Princes learn the arts of combat
from their father and mother as well select members of the
Elite guards, they will learn what powers they hold within
themselves that lye dormant for now until their awakening.

Alexis wondered onto the field, long hair and jacket fluttering in the wind behind her. She looked around the field slowly and then headed towards the spot where Adalia and the princes were.

Azaral and Alameth were standing off to the side having a quiet conversation with one another as their mother spoke with a young guard, having seen Alexis approach them a slight grin plays across her features, dismissing the guard she calls to her boys.
"Alameth, Azaral we have company make yourselves presentable."
Their heads turn in unison to see who might be coming and when they do they both groan with an inward sigh knowing that what ever happens next it wont be easy or fun.

Alexis stopped a few feet away from the trio and nodded briefly at Adalia before looking over the princes. She looked back at Adalia and then flicked her eyes to the princes.

Taking her cue from her gaze they each stepped forward and presented themselves to Alexis. Alameth was the one to speak.
"It is an honor to see you again, am I to be so bold as to assume you are
here to train us? Azaral spoke next. "Or are you here simply to observe or speak to our mother perhaps?" Adalia stood watching them with a keen expression in her gaze.

Alexis spun and dropped, kicking Azaral's feet out from under and leaping over him to land a a punch on the side of Alameth's neck, striking a nerve point that causes numbness and dizziness. When he started to waver, she wrapped her arms around his neck and shoulders and flipped him over her hip to land on top of his brother. When she finished, she flitted out of the way to stand next to Adalia.

Having no time to react both boys found them selves in a heap on the ground,Azaral shoved his brother off him and held his hands to his side trying to take him short gulps of air because his ribs hurt. Having rolled off Azaral, Alameth retched into the grass, once finished he wiped his chin on his sleeve, fighting the last traces of dizziness he got to his feet and bowed his head to Alexis to hide the blush that was forming on his young handsome cheeks.
Adalia stifled a giggle, but her eyes were filled with scorn as she eyed her boys.
"Learn well my boys for I never want to see you in such disgrace again."

Alexis brushed an imaginary piece of dirt off her jacket and flicked the lose strands of her hair back over her shoulder. She looked as impassive as ever, but if you knew her well, you could see the smug satisfaction deep in her eyes. She nodded again at Adalia and turned back to the boys, gauging their reactions.

Having heard his mothers words Alameth filled with shame but that shame quickly gave rise to anger, clenching his small fists he threw himself at Alexis swinging wildly at her, Azaral saw this and screamed
"Alameth no!" but it was to late, Azaral only knew his brother was bound to end up in the dirt once more, so in an attempt to even the odds he stood and threw himself at Alexis legs to try and unbalance her.

Alexis didn't even bat an eyelash. A few seconds after Azaral moved to attack, he was stopped by an invisible force. He could still move if he tried hard enough, but he would notice the creeping coldness that was moving through his body. It would slow him down enough that Alexis wouldn't have to worry about him anytime soon.
Turning on Azaral, Alexis ducked Alameth's wild punches and slammed her fist into his stomach twice and then used her other hand to slap his face to draw his attention before knocking him back with a right uppercut. She ducked again and spun, hitting him again in the stomach with the back of her heel.

Azaral stayed ware he was, knowing trying to move through such power was only pointless he did not have the training and took it at face value as he watched Alameth crumple to the ground he cringed feeling his brothers pain as a dull ache through their connection. Adalia glowered and spoke.
"If your done with your foolishness Alameth get to your feet and don't say a word. As it has been proven to you, you have a lot to learn and hopefully even after your insolence Alexis may still be willing to help in your training, but first I want you both to apologize" Alameth crawled to his knees and spat bloody phlegm into the dirt before he stood once more. They both spoke in unison.
"We ask you for your forgiveness mistress Alexis ,we hope you can overlook our moment of foolish pride."

The freezing cold halting Azaral in his tracks disappeared. As Adalia spoke, Alexis watched the boys as they apologized. Her eyes glinted icy blue and she knelt in front of Alameth. She placed cold fingers under his chin to left his face so that she could look into his eyes. She gazed at him for a few moments before standing and crossing to Azaral and doing the same procedure. Once again, she kept his gaze before looking away. She nodded sharply and turned to face Adalia. "Two weeks," she said in her low voice.

With a nod she replied.
"Then I leave them to your care."
With that Adalia came to her boys and hugged them both to reassure them they still had her love, and with that she turned and left leaving them to stand there watching Alexis expectantly.

Alexis moved to stand in front of them, hair and coat flying wildly in the wind that had picked up. Even with all the disarray she seemed perfectly calm and composed. Her face and eyes were impassive and she was as still as a statue. It was a stillness and patience that made her into such a deadly hunter. "Introduce yourselves," she ordered the boys. "What are your abilities and skills. Former training."

Azaral lifted his young eyes to Alexis and answered her.
"I am prince Azaral, I do not know what my gift of power is.
We have mock fights in our wolf forms and we each have
already learned how to hunt."
Alameth stepped forward. "I am prince Alameth,
I to do not know what my powers may be, as my
brother has said we have only had play fights
and we have learned how to hunt."
