Brief History: In the thick forests of Russia, the Ortigon Clan of Elves have lived in peace and harmony with the world around them for many years. During the 19th Century, Neyla was born unto the highest ranks of the clan. From birth and throughout her early thirty years on the world, Neyla broke all the rules. "Stay away from the human villages, you insolent brat!" seemed like all she ever heard. It was enough to drive one young elf into leaving the clan. Gradually over time she grew out her hair to the long flowing length it is in present times to hide her elven ears. She studied human interaction, fashion, temperament, everything against her clan's will. When she was in her 70's, Neyla decided that she had had enough. She left her clan without a backwards glance and headed out into the mortal world. It had been enough hiding in the shadows for one lifetime.
