What item do you think it would be best to invest in right now, I only have 23k. I could see my pitchfork for about 37k, but I wouldn't want to come back and see that it costs more to buy back the pitchfork than what I made in investing in the item.

Also, I seem to suck at exchange whoring or something cause I don't make nearly as much gold as I'm hearing. Would you call it luck of the draw or am I just being to wary (I worry about loosing gold rather than profiting when buying so I won't bid agressively)?

I'd like about 120k by the end of May to finish off my quests and use the remaining to exchange whore a lot while I don't have school over the summer.

Well; investing is for more subtle exchangers. I usually invest in items because I spend way to much time with my guild and thread and I dont have the time it takes to exchange-- then I often lose track of what the prices are in the exchange which makes it harder to get back in the game.

Also if you only have 23k then I dont suggest investing; especially if you want to continue exchanging, you'll need that gold to exchange biggrin and if you do invest.. invest in an item you like and want to wear, most of the time, if you like it then other people like it just the same. 3nodding

Well it depends on when you get on. If you get on during 'off-peak' hours, when everyone is usually asleep (i.e. 5000 to 10,000 members logged on), then you can usually snap up a bargain in the exchange. You then only need to put it in the vend and forget about till tomorrow. It will usually sell during the peak hours of the evening. This works best with popular items that can sell easily. mrgreen

Nice profits razz I was a fool and sold my ninja right before the price jump [in order to buy my nm scarf]... I still havent gotten the item back!

Well; I think the cheapest [best] item to invest in at the moment would the February letter, its inexpensive and its going to be rising in price soon... of course like I said earlier keep the 23k, what I would do is begin to set up a fund to raise a bunch of money to buy investment items.

For instance I just spent 110,000 on buying February's and Norisu Scarf's... and I am gonna sell them back at atleast 40k which is a 290,000 gold profit.. assuming I sell at 40 and nothing higher ^.^
