Then you realize you've been living in a shadow.

It's the shadow of death

And suddenly what once looked so scary
Disappears in His glory and light.

It's the shadow in the valley
Because when you're on the mountain looking back
You see that it was only a shadow
Here for a moment, gone the next
And the healing begins.

But these shadows are things we must face
Holding on to His hand like a child clings
To their daddy's hand
And He opens our eyes to the beauty that's in store
Don't be afraid of the shadows of life.

Keep going, keep walking through
The things we face are only shadows of what's to come
Just like everything else
These shadows disappear when we shine the light on them.
