Buki lived in the slums, he spent his days getting picked on by the bigger kids,he had to scavenge for food and work hard cause his mom and dad went off and died in the war.so he worked 3 jobs and still barely got food on the table,then he found a catbear he fed it and took care of it even if it meant taking food from his own mouth.then he saw a poster that said lost catbear 3000 Gold pieces,it looked just like his catbear,this was the only chance he had to get out of the pore house so he took it to its rightful owner and got the big bucks,he bought a fishing boat and set sail for a place far away in hopes to never see the slums again, shortly after that he found out he was a fire bender and since he dose not have a teacher or the money to get one, hes training him self.
