As the crowd were awaiting the next match on the card, which happened to the Main Event of the night, the lights suddenly started to flicker. They seemingly tried to come back on, before they were shut off completely.
An emerald spotlight then started to come to life in the centre of the ring, where it stayed for a moment, before making it's way on to the ramp. The fans had no idea what was going on, as it continued it's slow but deliberate movement up the ramp.
Reaching the top, it suddenly stopped, before shooting off at a quickened pace to the titantron, which lit up as soon as the light hit it. A shadowed figure stood against a dark green background, his eyes focused in by the camera, gleaming with a touch of venom.
There were no words, no music, no sounds at all. The man walked towards the camera, and then straight past it; the titantron powered off again.
The entire crowd were perplexed, unsure of what had just actually happened. But the lights didn't come back on.
The titantron shot back to life, showing every major Superstar in EGW. The shadowed figure then came back on to screen, facing away from the camera, and looking at the men in front of him. As he moved his gaze from left to right, looking at the Superstars, they then became engulfed in darkness.
Once all of the men had been shot in to darkness, the same shadowed figure who came on to screen turned to the camera. Putting out his arm, he revealed a mark upon his fist.
That same image came on to screen, fading out the shadow of a man.
Three words then flickered on to the screen, right before EGW went to a commercial break.
He is coming.
