The Laugh Master entered the city limits and entered a nearby restaurant. He grinned widely at the greeter. "Can I please have the murder-on-a-stick?" He pointed a gun in the air and shot. Though all that came was confetti. Several people began looking curiously. He then laughed aloud as the confetti landed on a waiter and nearby customer. Both pieces caught fire and the two died in the growing infernal rage. A malevolent laugh escaped the Laugh Master as he then dropped the gun that was releasing his father, The Joker's famous laughing gas.

then lighting went through the building's roof and struck the gun before it could release a fatal amount of the gas. thunder boomed and dark clouds rolled in. lightning lit up the sky and revealed that Thunder Shock (Kathy Jones) was standing in the doorway to the restaurant. her eyes glowed electric blue. "Like father, like son." she said

"You knew my father? How delightful!" He laughed again, this time in an obnoxious manner.. "You can die with both our gorgeous faces in your head." In that instant, a blast of water rushed through the entrance dousing the "superhero" in chilly water. "Hope you're thirsty!" He laughed again, and with the water came a big black van. Out of it came large, buff goons dressed as clowns. "Kill 'er, boys!"

she smiled and let off a shock wave that paralized the goons. they fell to the ground twitching and hair sticking up. "i guess good goons are hard to find these days." she said mockingly.

"You know, I was just thinking the same thing." He let out a loud laugh from the driver's seat of the van, and The Laugh Master then floored the van, heading straight for Thunder Shock.

"Weee!" The Laugh Master screamed in joy of the spinning. As soon as it stopped he hopped out and stumbled to the hero. He held out his wrists. "Okay, I'm done with playtime. Jail time now, right?" He laughed menacingly.

The busy yet dark streets of Gotham weren't unfamiliar to Viral. She had always favored being on the streets; and that was partly because the streets always led somewhere, they were always linked. What she wasn't always aware of was how trapped all the links could get you. Viral flexed her fingers gingerly as she stood atop a building overlooking the Gotham Star Museum. "I want you to steal the Corvex Meteorite" Her instructions echoed in her mind as she crouched down, examining the building's perimeters. It was now the evening hours, and if her memory was correct, the museum would be closing its doors soon. Of course, there would always be someone inside on night shifts-- the crime in Gotham City had always raised business' security. That didn't matter though. Her eye was on the task, and as she sat there like a dark gargoyle in the night, her fur hat warming her head, she began to think of which wing the treasure would be..

Time passed. Viral waited patiently. She suspected someone might had seen her at one point; a child, it looked like, that had stopped and glanced up in her direction. But the individual posed no threat, as it kept walking along the sidewalk. All the time she watched the museum, until finally it was dark enough. The doors weren't yet closed, but she wanted to have a better look at the area she was going to break into. She jumped off the building's edge and landed on the much lower roof of the museum. It resembled a dome-shape, and a majority of the roof was glass. She manuevered about the roof carefully, making sure she wouldnt be seen from below. The darkness would mask her, but this being her first task, she felt the need to be extra cautious. She wouldn't want to be setting a poor reputation for herself if she returned empty-handed. The guards moved about sluggishly below, turning out lights in the museum. Viral wished she had brought an electronic along; something that gave her a map of the building. She would have to do this the old-way.
She waited a while after the last guard was out of sight before she began. Her only equipment was a tiny laser, rope, and a grappling hook. Quickly and quietly, she put herself to work; cutting a hole in the cieling, just large enough for her to fit through. Attaching her rop to the hook, she secured the device and then disappeared into the museum.
The night's light shone eerily through the glass ceiling of the museum, so she slid down quickly so as not to be caught in it, and crept into the shadows. She walked silently, careful not to go near anything valuable. The sounds of a guard's footsteps echoed from the lower level, but on this floor, she was alone. Viral grinned to herself as she found a promising wing; one that displayed an array of sacred rocks and other-worldly artifacts. She withdrew her tiny laser as she approached a specific glass case..
