Through prolonged eye contact in his right eye, he can activate his power; skin contact is also another activator, but only in his hands. This is why he wears gloves, and either a blindfold or an eye patch. It depends on the master.

Personality: Completely pliant, if he has the right master. If he has a kind master, he will unintentionally rebel. He needs to know whether he is right or wrong and the only way he can know for sure is through punishment.
Bio: Matteo’s sister, Julia, was born with a terminal illness, and though they tried, the doctors could not do anything without an expensive operation. His parents were able to pay for it, but chose not to, which angered Matteo to the point of running away. His parents neglected Julia, leaving her to fend for herself. Matteo became a father by the age of seven, taking care of his sister as her mobility failed and she was left bed-ridden.
His parents beat him, burnt him with their cigarette butts, and often left the house unattended for weeks. When he was ten, in a last ditch effort to save his sister, Matteo sold himself into slavery and took the money that was paid for him and sent it to his sister. His parents, though took the money. Julia died a year later, and Matteo has been in slavery ever since.
