Teacher: Mrs. Norbud  "Welcome to weaponry class," Mrs. Norbud began the day as usaual. "Take out a bow and five arrows. Find a partner to keep your score. Each bullsye will count as 20 points, and this will count as a major part of your grade." Alex rolled her eyes and grabbed a bow. She picked out the five sharpest arrows and walked to the targets. She didn't want to pick a partner, so she decided she would let one come to her.

*Leo comes in and apologies for being late. Teacher tells him to find a partner for archery practice. Leo creates dark gray bow, five black arrows and walks over to Alex* ~"hey can i join you?"exavier asks Alex~

Alex nods, and rests the bow on her right shoulder. She walks over to a target and rolles her eyes.
"Archery is so easy, it's one of my best subjects." She smiles and aims the bow. She takes out a slick black arrow and loads the bow. She shoots and makes dead center.

*looks at Alex and smiles when she makes the mark* ~it seems i may get to have some fun with this after all.~ * walks up beside Alex and loads one of the dark arrows he made. cocks arrow back and smiles. lets go of string and the arrow shoots and splits Alex's arrow in two.* ~your turn Alex. i would like to see how well you can shoot.~ *moves the target back 100m using levitation.* ~now please split my arrow. every time we make it the target will move back another 100m. i hope you can keep up. i would like it if you could. you seem very talented.~

Alex smiled. "I don't think I'm going to be the one that has to keep up," She loased her arrow and it split Leo's arrow in two. "Hmm, this seems like it's going to happen quite often, how about try to get them in an an exact line across the target?" She demonstrated with her last three arrows. "Like this, about an inch apart each, you finish my line." Alex looked at Leo's bow. "It looks a little small for you... the bow..." Alex looked at the bow again.

Diana came to stand beside Alex. She glared at Leo. The two never really had gotten along. Diana smiled at the split arrows. "Is that the best you got?" she asked. "Think you can do better?" asked Leo, venom in his voice. "Oh I KNOW I can." Alex noticed Diana now had a large wooden bow and quiver of arrows slung across her back  . Diana sat down on the floor, legs crossed. The bow shook for a moment then rose off her back. An arrow notched itself on the string and split an arrow that was already lodged in the target. "And I'm not using a levitation spell" she said, grinning. She stood up and took the bow in hand. "Alex is right. Your bow is too small for you. Go get another one." Diana tried not to laugh at how pitiful it looked to see Leo holding a bow that would be the perfect size for her 10 year old cousin. Diana whispered something into Alex's ear and both girls cracked up.

Alex stopped laughing after a few seconds. She loaded her bow and the arrow flew throught the air.

*the bow Exavier's carrying suddenly grows and forms into more daunting bow.  *Stings bow instantly and fires. the arrow slices through Alex's arrow before it hits the target and then splits in 5 and splits every one of Diana's arrows in 3*

Alex stares at the target trying to figure out what to do next. "Well, you seem pretty talented," Alex held her arrow in between her index finger and thumb and bounced it lightly on the palm of her other hand. She lightly nudged Leo with her elbow and looked at the target again. "Watch this."
Alex loaded her bow with three arrows and shot them all at once. As they flew through the air, they appeared to rotate around like a circle. Before they hit the target, Alex used magic to set the three arrows on fire. When the arrows hit the target, they imprinted a small circle on it and left Leo's arrow as ash. Alex looked up at Leo again.
"How was that for a girl?"

Diana smiled. "Nice one girl." She gave Alex a high-five and strung her bow. Diana shot the arrow and it disappeared, only to reappear on the target. "Eh, not my best work, but whatev." she looked at the arrow and smiled.

Alex smiled, figuring she was having too much fun with this lesson. She pointed her arrow at the ground and shot, watching it bounce right back up, hitting the ceiling at an angle. Alex crossed her fingers as the arrow, loosing speed the more it bounced off of things, limply hit the middle of the target. It was all she could do not to jump up nd down and cheer for herself, but she just smiled instead.

Diana laid her bow on the ground and pulled a small red ball out of her pocket. She walked over to the target and hung the ball over the bullseye. She went back and picked up her bow. She swung her hand back and forth once and the ball started swinging in time with her hand. Finally, she stopped and released the arrow. It hit the ball and stuck it to the small black cross in the very center of the target. She bowed and stepped to the side.
