Background: As soon as they knew her mother was pregnant, Leo's parents built a bar with those special rocks that protected them. They wanted their kids to live happily, without a worry. The basement was used as a house and a shelter for those who had nowhere else to go. It didn't seemed like it, but it was huge. Leo lived happily in the basement, rarely going outside, even less alone or only with friends. A special teacher came to the bar to learn her what the other kids were learning in schools. When she started to get bored of being always alone, other parents started to bring their kids to that improvised school for "special" children. All her friends had powers. But one day, when she was about 16, her parents went to a show but never came back. Leo was devastated. Her uncle took care of her until she had 21 and left. Now, she holds the bar, the school is still in the basement and everyone with powers is welcomed to the "Yokai bar".

Background: Since she was a kid, her parents kept telling her that if you had powers, it was because you made a pact with the devil. She never really believed it, but she still hated them. She was sure they would try to control the world one day. Thay were just too powerful not to do it. At the age of 13, she found out that her best friend had powers and killed other friends by accident. But Mariska didn't care if it was an accident. She felt betrayed and turned her friends to the cops. Since she was living across the street, she saw the cops capturing her and how her friend was defending herself so fiercely (?) . She then decided that she wanted to prevent something like this to happen to other normal poeple. So she worked hard at school and became an awesome cop. Now she is paired up with another guy that she doesn't like too much, but oh well, at least they had the job done.

Background: Born into a normal family, normal friends and a normal life, until she mistakenly killed everyone she loved when she released a huge demon ghost. A wise old lady, The Witch of the Black Fog, took her in and helped her control and train her powers. Even though the name of her care-taker made her out to be a evil witch she was kind and healed the people in the town below. They were neutral about the war, in their happy lives on the mountain until the cops came and killed the Witch, Aona was 7. She changed her last name to Black Fog and became a traveler, detesting the Cops, and not too well liking the Powers either, But she still sided with them because of her past and their detest of the same person. Now she hunts for work and maybe something to sell. She does odd-ball jobs in most occasions.

Background: Really a mysterious person in truth, his father was a very cruel and dangerous cop, bringing pressure on him to become even better, and more cruel. Being a cop was forced, and he never really had a choice in the matter. But after his mother died by a revengeful power, he could care less what happens to the Powers.
