What is the most important thing you look for in a person?
I look for someone who calls back when he says he will and is on time when we meet. Not much to ask for but in our world...its a pretty big request.
How about you?

I look for a balance between appearance and personality. A lot of people get all pissy when a guy wants a girl that's good looking. I don't care how nice she is if she looks like this I'm not interested. Still personality is a big thing for me. If she is a selfish b***h I'm more likely to want to splash battery acid on her face rather than date her.

Besides, who doesnt like Video Games biggrin If she doesn't like video games she doesn't have to play. If she doesn't want you to play video games ever find someone else. That's kinda how I feel, but with guns. Guns are important to me. Most girls don't seem interested in guns so I'm not looking for someone who can field strip an AR-15 and reassemble in under 60 seconds. If she doesn't like guns, but she can put up with me owning them I will really like her. If she demands I get rid of them I show her the door.

Like most guys I do have a standard when it comes to looks, however it seems my standards and that of those around me are very different. I don't look for models, no point in it, if I happen to find people who are that attractive then great it just means they have the full package.
Which means they can hold a conversation on at least a few mutual subjects, has amazing eyes (I like eyes... They're always unique). Other criteria I couldn't say I suspect there are some but they aren't ones I'm aware of.

I'm currently not looking for a guy right now, but when I'm ready to start dating again, I'm hoping to find someone who's not too bossy. I find a lot of men are bossy and domoneering. Just trust me, don't keep tabs. I hate questions such as "Who all is at your house? How many people are in your house? Whose been at your house? Who did you talk to today? Did you talk to any guys? Who bought you that ring? Who bought you that underwear?" I especially hate it when a man starts making too many rules. "Don't wear makeup! Don't drink beer! Don't cuss! Don't wear a bathing suit! Don't swim!" Seriously, I've never cheated. So for men out there, why do some men have to be so bossy?! confused

I look for a lot of things in a woman. Things that will make me seem sexist, but so be it.
Honestly, I don't think I can ever be with a snake of a woman, always lying and planning to screw me somewhere down the road. I've been there before, and I have no intention of getting hurt again.
Why should I have to love a woman who I find unattractive or isn't attracted to me?
All I want is a woman who's gorgeous (Hannah Minx gorgeous), and most importantly true. A woman I can get along with. Of course, I have needs, she has needs. Well, yeah... stare

My ideal woman would be in her 20s, college educated & goal oriented. Preferably not an alcoholic or drug abuser. She'd have morals and be an intellectual who can stand her ground. Definitely want a woman who's aware of what's going on in the world around her as well.
And of course to some degree I'm a bit shallow when it comes to appearance. I don't really find extremely overweight girls attractive and I prefer brunettes over other hair colors. Not interested at all in women who have kids. I'm Roman Catholic but I prefer to be with a woman who follows some religion as long as it isn't run by weirdos.

The most important thing? I'd have to say truthfulness, but with tact. I don't want a significant other who just shuts me down all the time with reality, or controversially allows me to believe in things that will never happen.

Ok, I love my long hair which is why it is long. However, the moment a guy tells me that, I know that when we break up (at that point maybe is barely on the table), my hair will be getting a major docking.

Ten years ago the guy said "I like your hair long, I think you should grow it longer." The guy turned out to be a cheater and a total bum who wanted to move in with me for free room and board. After that I got my hair cut to my shoulders.

I know that looks aren't the most important thing, but I have a physical type in mind. I was kind of attracted to this guy in community college almost ten years ago. Tall and svelte. Jet black hair in a Clooney cut. The type of hair that's so black that in the right light it looks kind of blueish. Eyes that are either black or brown. Great cheekbones. Skin color that's a cross between tawny and caramel. Dresses well (none of that camo print hillbilly look). Doesn't act like a jerk because of his good looks. Has a quiet aura about him. Very mysterous, but not a sense of aloofness.

A woman that likes me for me. Having some of the same interests would be a nice bonus.

Guns are also quite important to me for many reasons. Oddly many women seem to act like guns are unstable explosives that are going to go off if they enter the house or if they go near them, instead of treating them like the tools they are. Most women I've met either quickly demand I get rid of the guns(or them) or they constantly bemoan the guns making every rendezvous miserable. Acceptance of firearms is a minimum, proficiency in firearms is better but being an expert hunter, tracker and survivalist is best. Also I look for a woman who isn't high maintenance (it's very annoying), can be rugged(can camp, fish, hunt, etc and hold her own in the world), has natural simple beauty, and doesn't tell me how to dress or cut my hair(seems like every woman tries to play dress up). I also find it annoying when women can't be bothered to learn to take care of the things they own or deal with such as houses(various parts of it),cars, etc and constantly ask men to fix everything for them.( I've known many who keep numerous males around just to do such bidding.)
