TV Tokyo has canceled the agreement with 4Kids entertainment, and there will be no more dubs of 5D's or of Zexal. The new movie will no longer be released on DVD, and Dan Green and other voice actors may be fired, all because some execs stole thousands of dollars in profit from TV Tokyo over the years they had rights to the English Dub.

4Kids deserved it . They butchered the hell out of Yu-Gi-Oh!
That's kinda the reason why I stopped watching after the original .

Eh, it was inevitable to happen. Besides, with some shady stuff like hiding royalties and whatnot, they were bound to get sued.

Surprisingly, there was still dubbed 5D's last Saturday (and the Japanese ending was wonderful!)! I'm wondering who'll take over, seeing as other companies were involved.

turns out, 4kids gets to keep its license. can't remember the exact reason why but basically, it's because they filed for bankruptcy. 5ds will stay intact, the movie is being released in july i think (pre-order at walmart in USA) but there's not a whole lot about zexal yet. so YGO fans can breathe easy now! 3nodding
