What To Do First
Hello and welcome to Saraga! The first thing you will do is make your character profiles!
Because you are allowed to have more than one character, you will be able to make your own topic [but still in this forum] for your characters. When making a topic for profiles, please post your username and characters. Like so:shadow_demon_Kyo's characters

RULES
Yes, just as with everything, profiles have rules too.
1.Your character, whatever race they may be [human, alien, vampire, etc...] MUST have a human appearance. Your character CAN change into another being like an animal or an alien, it just has to have a human base-form.
2. Please, nothing sexually explicit. Seriously, you'd be surprised what people try to get away with.
3. Please give us accurate and detailed descriptions of your character because it'll give everyone a better picture of what your character looks like and how your character acts.
4. You may have more than one character, just keep it a reasonable number so one or two characters do not go inactive.
5. POWERS: Every power has its limits, and every power needs a drawback! First, there are limits as to what your character can do, how far they can go, how long they can work, and how powerful they can be. Second, you need drawbacks, like it weakens your character, or every time they use an attack it gets weaker, or using one power makes it so that they can't use another, to name a few examples. And third, every character needs some type of weakness, something that can harm them, or defeat their powers (and not some rare condition like: every third Tuesday in May if they wear green they lose all power.)
Now, you don't necessarily need to put the drawbacks of your power in your profile, unless they are something quite unusual. However, if you have some extraordinary weakness, you need to put that somewhere. Rest assured, no roleplayer will be able to know your weaknesses automatically.
Last, please explain how your powers work. Listing your powers is not good enough; we need actual explainations. Nothing like, "Sammy can poison someone." How can Sammy poison someone? Does Sammy have to touch that person? Kiss that person? Spit on that person? Please go into as much detail as possible. Thank you.
6. No invincibility! While we aren't asking you to have your characters getting constantly killed off, you're character has to be able to be hurt. It takes all the fun out of fighting if nothing can hurt your characters in the first place.
No infallibility! Yes, you can duck and weave away from each other's hits, but you have to be able to be hit sometimes. It's one thing to dodge away from the blows of a single duelist, but it's another thing entirely to dodge away from something you can't even see in the first place. When facing insurmountable odds, it's best just to let yourself get hit and avoid angering the other roleplayers.
No gods! While we have few limitations on what race your characters can be, we simply won't allow you to play the part of almighty, all-knowing deities. This includes demi-gods and any of the rulers of hell (yes, demons are permitted, but you can't be Lucifer, so don't even try). Even if you don't claim to be a god, if we find you've gifted yourself with god-like abilities, we're going to make you change your character, so save us all some grief and just don't do it.
No absolute knowledge! Your character can't know everything there is to know about everyone ever. If, for example, a character has a certain trait he or she is attempting to hide, your character can't automatically know about that trait. It takes the fun out of having mystique in the first place if what you're keeping a secret is already common knowledge.
