So pretty much I'm going to tell you a name of God and what it means till I run out of them if that is okay with ya'll.
Learning the names of God is so important because:
It increases our understanding of his character and nature.
It increases our understanding of his relationship with man kind.
It increases our understanding of his authority and dominion.
It increases our faith and trust in him.
It also expands our capacity for praise and worship.
So now your like okay that's nice but what do the names of God Reveal?
Well they revival his character, his nature, his relationship with us, and salvation thru Jesus Christ.
But what happens when God revels himself to us by Character, Nature, or relationship? People become transformed into the likeness of God. We become a reflection of him of his character and his nature thru our relationship with him to the world.
1 John 4:7 (King James Version)
7Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.
Romans 8:29 (King James Version)
29For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.
1 John 4:4 (King James Version)
4Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.
God is love, and he lives on the inside of us, we can walk in this love because we have been forgiven and loved. We can love the world as he has!
2 Corinthians 5:17
2 Corinthians 5:17 (King James Version)
17Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
Once you understand who you are in Christ you will not bring up the past because you know who you are now.
