~You have been cordially invited to attend the Guild of Story Tellers Grand Opening Ball~ *You arrive in a carriage (either alone or with company) to the grand estate. The driver take you around to admire the lush green landscaping of the Mansion, as you reach the back of the mansion the driver helps you down and directs you to a path leading through the garden. You must make your way through to the entrance leading into the Guest Hall. Once there an attendant directs you over to the 'Guest Book' and asks that you sign in before she walks away hurriedly. The muffled sound of music can be heard from the next room.*~

Dress code:OFF
"This will be a dress code RP. To post you must be in the proper attire. Women a dress or skirt of your choice will work nicely and Men break out the formal wear! If you are going to be here alot I suggest you save an outfit in one of your outfit slots which can be found in the avatar customizing screen." *No bumping, advertising or spamming will be accepted here.
*No other content should be posted here besides actual Role Playing.
*Keep all content clean and appropriate.
*Cursing if fine (actually encouraged) to establish a character persona but excessive swearing will be frowned upon.

~Palace Rooms~-::Guest Hall::- "The entrance to the mansion. Everyone must pass though here on their way to the ball room. If you are looking to get away from the party and want to relax or gather your thoughts this is where to go. Away from all the hustle and bustle of the party. The attendant will be happy to bring you tea or coffee while you look over the Guest Book." -::Ball Room::- "Here is where the fun takes place! We have a live band that will play for you as you dance across the hall with your date! Have a special request? Have our attendant relay that to the Composer and they'll be happy to play your song for you! Please allow the band a 5 minute break in between songs, which time they will leave the Ball Room until their next preformance." -: biggrin ining Hall::- "Hungry for a little adventure? Our chef has traveled abroad to gather all the most exotic delicacies! Our staff will be happy to seat you and serve you! We have a Harp Player that will entertain you while you wait for your order to arrive and of course all dinner entrées are on us! Please note the band likes to spend their time here in between their performances."

~Key Characters~  Host: Darius D. (Darius Danielss) "He is the one in of charge of security and personnel related issues at this Ball! Got a problem or complaint? Go to him first!"  Hostess: Ninja_Dragon_Goth (Acire) "She is second in command when the Host is busy or away. Along with security and personnel management she also ensures the cleanliness of the Dinning Hall and overlooks all the maintenance needs of the Ball Room."  Guest Hall Attendent: xafantya (Aspirin Aloe) "She greets everyone before they enter the ball room. She is one in charge of the guest book and attending to our guests in the Guest Hall."  Band Composer: The Red Coyote (Rina Starr) "She is in charge of the band members and all the equipment they will be using through out their performances for the Ball."  Chef: Sparklee Cupcake (Ayumi Blanc) "She is the master chef in charge of the kitchen. Her travels abroad have give her insight on the healing properties of many different herbs and spices." Waiter: ~Still Available~"He/She is strictly under the command of the Chef. His/Her main job includes cleaning the kitchen and waiting on the guests visiting the Dinning Hall."  Harp Player: GuitaristPick (Pranvera) "Her main job is entertaining the guests in the Dinning Hall and improving their overall experience. She does also join the Band for a song on rare occasions."

"Alright guys... You know the score?"
*Darius is going over rehearsal with the members of the band until the guests for the Ball arrive. The members of the band are fine on their own without the guidance from the Composer but Darius still worried about them from time to time. He is the kind man who like things to be absolutely perfect when entertaining company. The thought of things going wrong and being embarrassed in front of a crowd lingered in the back of him mind.*
"... ...Sounds right, go over it one more time before the guests arrive-I'm going to check on things in the kitchen alright?"
*The member of the band were reluctant to oblige him*
"Master Chef!!"
*Darius called out while entering the Dinning Hall*
"-Oh! He's not here yet either... Well-if someone gets hungry early I guess I can whip up something! Lets see here."
*Darius goes through the full cabinets of food looking for something he recognizes*
"Aha! Lets see-we got Hamburger Helper, Spaghetti, Err... What ever that is. Hrmm.. OKAY! I'll just stay out of the kitchen for now."
*Darius made his way back into the Ball Room and was heading for the Guest Hall. On his way he admired the symphony of music the members of the band were playing. He came to a stop at the center of the empty Ball Room and closed his eyes admiring it. He crossed his arms, lent to his side and tapped his foot rhythmically to match the tune of the classical score. He stood there almost in a trance. He began to sway side to side lightly as the tune joyously came to a close ending in sharp out of place tone that seem to high to fit into this classical score and with that Darius let out a breath of frustration and snapped out of his trance.*

Aspirin leans lazily on the guest podium as she drinks in her surroundings. The crystal chandeliers, the fresh, brilliant glasses stacked up neatly in rows, the imported silk-draped sofas... wait, are they called sofas? Sofa sounds so ... normal. A sofa was the blue-corduroy La-Z-Boy she had back home. Such rare pieces are far to lavish. What does one call this absolute piece-of-art, that just happens to be in the shape of furniture?
Idly, she picks up the golden pen, attached to the guest book by a sapphire-studded chain. Out of curiosity, she unhooks the pen from the chain.
"HALL ATTENDANT!" shouts Darius Danielss, the Host. Startled, Aspirin drops the pen.
"Yeees? I"m over here!" She replies.
"NEVERMIND." His voice calls back.
Aspirin chuckles. It sounds like the host is flying around like a humming bird. Everything already looked spectacular. Why was he still running around?
Then she realizes she lost the pen.
"Aiiiiiyyyaahhhhhh!"
She fumbles around the Guest Hall looking for the golden pen.

Ayumi was just daydreaming along, thinking about going to Japan to hone her sushi skills.
She walked into the ballroom, not noticing the faces looking at her. She floated into the kitchen, put her stuff away in her locker, put on her best apron, snapped out of daydreaming, and noticed that no none was here.
"Well then, then I 'll guess I should give myself some self motivation. We are going to feed those hungry people tonight. We chefs in Japan have a saying, "数値が大きいほど、良い！" The bigger, the better! So the bigger the crowd, the better. We will feed them, and I will make sure that happens."
She hurried over the the food cabinet, ready to prepare anything in there.
"Hmm, Hamburger Helper, Spaghetti...Aha! Some premade onigiris!" She opens the package. Ayumi takes a bite. "Ohyuck! Bleh!" She spits it out in the garbage.
"I am gonna seriously work on these, and that's my new project for tonight."

*Darius just finished going over breathing techniques with the the members of the band, he sent them on their break to reflect on what he went over with them when he heard a distant shriek coming from the Guest Hall.*
"Gyah! What now!"
*Darius began walking toward the Guest Hall hurriedly until he hear the sound of cooking pots clanging along with various noises coming from the Dining Hall. He quickly whirled around and started toward the Kitchen.*
"Really!? I told the member of the band to practice in the Dinning Hall and they go through the kitchen?"
*He bursts through the door expecting to see something chaotic when he is surprised by a peaceful setting of the band members sitting down conversing with each other while enjoying some dish he didn't recognize.*
"Ah-Uh? ..."
*He walks into the kitchen*
"Oh master chef you'r here! I didn't notice you coming in!"

Ayumi was working on making the stuffing of the onigiris when a thought came to mind.
"Should I really be making onigiris for a fancy ball? Maybe I should change it and start with the appetizers!"
She was going to reach for a cook book her mother published, when the kitchen door was pushed open. It was Darius, the host!
"Oh master chef you'r here! I didn't notice you coming in!"
Ayumi bowed.
"Ah, hello! What brings you here? Also, what should I make for the appetizers? I know so many, I can't choose!"

"Ahh... Well now that you mention it maybe something lite to start off the evening. No reason preparing a grand meal yet, none of the guests have arrived yet."
*Darius started to look around the kitchen marveling at Ayumi's staff tending to kitchen chores so professionally*

Aymui thought for a bit.
"Thanks for the idea! Hmm, light?"
Ayumi walks over to the pantry and stuffs her head inside and takes a peek.
"Gasp! Lets make something nice and simple! Garlic Bread!"
She starts taking out bread, putting it in the oven and gets out the giant mixing bowl and starts getting the garlic part of the bread ready.
"どうもありがとうございました！Thank you very much!"
She bows her head once again.

"Let me know when are finished preparing the appetizers for our guests I'll help you serve them until the waiter you hired gets here. Thanks again Master Chef Ayumi."
*Darius being more relaxed that more of his staff have arrived heads out to the ball room. The band is still in the Dinning Hall taking five so the Ball Room is quite. There are a few guests paired up around the dance floor, Darius thought he'd go and introduce himself until he remembered he heard some commotion in the Guest Hall. He calmly makes his way there hoping for the best but expecting the worst.*
(Still being anxious about the Ball most likely)

As Aspirin is feeling around the floor of the guest room for that darned golden pen, she hears the click of expensive, black leather shoes.
"Oh man...!" She freezes in her search. To act as if nothing happened and hide the fact that the pen is missing, or to admit she made a simple mistake of unhooking such an expensive pen from its rightful chain? The latter seemed the more honest, more righteous and less troublesome.
But ignoring her reasoning, Aspirin dashes to the podium, assuming a stance that conveyed everything was as it should be. Why tell Mr. Danielss what he doesn't have to know? She was absolutely not getting fired within the first half-hour of this job.
