I guess it's just because it's the most recent disaster to happen? Something like that...but i'm sure other people out there are still concerned about Haiti and Hurricane Katrina smile

Yeah. America can recover. If something happens, people can move to a new state or just live with their family. Haiti has the same thing as america, I THINK. But japan is kinda shaky. Just look at it, the only nations it's remotely close to is China and Korea along with Hong Kong. Since Japan and China, Korea, and Hong Kong don't really like each other, they can't go anywhere. AND a nuclear plant was destroyed. That's partially why?

not only the USA is facing the weather problems.

Haiti was pretty badly hit and they still have yet to fully recover, Haiti is small and is not like the US. Not to mention it's a 3rd World Country with corrupt government. ._.
