In the brisk morning air of Route 1, a boy with black hair, a relaxed look on his face, and some headphones that are taking his attention away from the boring stroll, walks towards Pallet Town to receive his first pokemon. Little does he know that an angry Rattata is coming towards him using a Quick Attack.
Suddenly someone yells, "Pidgey! I choose you!".
When the boy turns around, he sees a Pidgey flying above a Rattata which has fainted.
When he looks at the trainer to thank them, he sees none other then Professor Oak of Pallet Town!
