I hate the way I am. The way I need someone to be happy, the way I'm so ******** clingy, the way I hate myself so much. I've officially been diagnosed as bipolar, and with BPD. My mother thought I had diabetes, too. Does anyone know how to... well, live?

check it out... i don't feel like you or anyone needs anyone else to be happy... specifically. if you're a real bipolar, things won't be bad forever. something you've gotta realize is that there are high ups, and low downs, and if you can jsut tough it out, then you'll come to an understanding of yourself and not need anyone, either. it sometimes takes someone to accomplish this, which is the gay catch... but a good friend or a loving mother or father or even teacher can really do teh trick... activism helps self esteem too, just because you feel like you're making a difference. and for me, religion makes me feel like everything is manageable and perfect. i'm wiccan, but christianity/buddhism/islam/whatever... can really make all the difference. and not the religious type? science has answers, too! *i find the answers here to be a little empty, but it steadies out somepeople*.
you can pm me any time... i'm always around, kay? i am going throuhg dramatic changes, and i'm sure i can spout useless advise at you... you know?

I've found that the best way to survive without meds is meditation, proper REGULATED sleep cycle, exercise (Yoga and such are good), and eating a healthy diet. Caffeine and alcohol can make things much worse.

She thinks you have diabetes? Get that checked out with a doctor just in case.

I'll let you know when I figure it out myself.
I'm ridiculously clingy. Even if I'm sick to death of someone I've been hanging with, when they leave (even if just downstairs or another room or whatever), I feel like crap. I constantly need social interaction.....

I think I may have Borderline Personality Disorder as well, but the upside to having it (snickerscoff) is that you can actually be cured of it to an extent, through intensive therapy, self-awareness, and possibly meds as well.
If you're having problems, please PM me. I'll be glad to help. heart

I am the same way, I'm completly miserable without anyone. I'm also incredibilly clingy. I'm really passive, and probley co-dependent because of it.

I know how u feel buddy. I need ppl in my life just to be able to function, but its not always a bad thing, because when i was alone, all i had to think about wuz how much i hated myself, and it really sucks. With other ppl i have reason to live, and it gives me hope that there is a future for me. I cling to important ppl, and they have kept me partially sane.

Secretly Bob Agent_Starling She thinks you have diabetes? Get that checked out with a doctor just in case. We did, right before I got diagnosed with the Bipolar and BPD. I don't, but she still thinks I do. I'll be honest with u and i don't mean any offense to ur family, but my mum is the same way with me, she actually tried the diabetes thing, when it failed, i must be depressed, and when i'm not, take me to a psych and get me diagnosed as bipolar. Sometimes parents need an excuse for their kids acting different than wut they would like them to. The only thing she might have gotten right is the bipolar, because its getting worse.

Omg me too. :[ I've been mentally obsessing with someone since August. I've thought about them constantly, Every. Day. And the last times he talked to me was once in September And once in October. fdl;shgjf
Is that really related to bipolar though? I thought maybe I just sucked and was overly dependent. Idk.

I got a fish tank and it helped. Kinda dorky I know but it got me to think about other things. And if I couldnt hang in there then all the fish would die. So it gave me a reason to hang on. Little things like that seem to help in big ways when your just hanging on for one more day at a time.
