Story The year is 1030 (in nowadays’ terms, though, it would be around 305 cool . In 2012 came a mighty war over resources that exterminated 90% of the human race on the planet. Thus, the remaining individuals came to a truce, trying to make mend their past actions and return civilization to what is should be. Slowly but steadily, human race maintained itself, and the resources that were once reaching the earthly limits due to the ever growing population of men started to fall back to their natural cycle, and soon the entire Earth was abundant again with food and water. Delighted, the survivors made that year the first of a new era, where they were saved from their own race. Several generations passed in a constant but not absolute peace, and civilization has become very similar to what it was before the last war. On the year 1000, the main cities of this new era decide to hold a curious celebration in memory of the society that was mostly exterminated on the last war. All the biggest minds of the time research, in history, icons for the men and women of that time, that came in form of videogame characters they loved, anime characters they loved or, rather, any type of fiction that people enjoyed. Using the current advanced technology, they create copies of such characters in real flesh and blood, through expert genetic manipulation, and spread them through the world, their families being guardians that will give them one mission they must complete. If that mission is indeed complete, then they will become the heroes of the nation, and acknowledged to be the best their previous society has to offer. This festival is called “Chaos World”, and was supposed to last for 50 years. 30 years have already elapsed, which were used to place the fictional individuals around the world and give them time to mature. Now, only 20 years remain…If the story is not clear in some points, feel free to PM me asking for a clarification on a certain subject, and I’ll be happy to comply.

How to Play First, you must have one character in mind. I prefer videogame or anime characters, but if you want something from a book or other series, it is fine as long as you have an image to represent the character in this world. If you have no idea which character to use, I have a list of suggested ones on the “Character List” section in this topic, so check it out. Next, you should go to the “Profiles” topic of the forum and fill up the application, then post it there. I’ll let you know if there are any mistakes, and I expect you to fix the post if there is any. After the profile is done, I’ll send you a PM with the mission your character is supposed to complete, and details about it. After you receive your mission, you can start playing, but before that, please read the “Rules” listed just below this post.

Game Rules 1 – Unfortunately, completing your mission will always take a long time. The focus of the game should be in interacting with other characters and developing your own, so I’ll reserve the right to deem your worthy of completing the mission or not. Though, by all means, pursue your goal, and I’ll eventually let you complete it.
2 – Please post at least once every week. You may ask for me to extend this limit to you by about 5 days more, but that’s it. If you’re not posting, and I think your character is hindering other players, then I’ll take control of it and put it out of the way until your return, when you’ll be able to control your character again.
3 – Do NOT god-mod. You will control only the actions of your own characters, and non-playable characters. If you want to influence another character, be sure to leave a margin of uncertainty so the other player will be comfortable with choosing between avoiding it or not (for instance, write that “I try to hug Shion strongly, hoping that she will pet my head in response” instead of “I hug Shion strongly, which then pets my head in response”).
4 – If your character is going to fight another’s, enter in contact with the player of the other character, and decide which character should win, or if it should be a draw. It’s rather easy to get carried away with writing and thinking you’re invincible, but be reasonable in fights. If you guys can’t get in an agreement, contact me and I’ll try to mediate it. As for fights with some sort of in-game judge (there will be those, don’t worry), you don’t need to follow this rule, as the result will be decided by the judge anyway.
5 – Don’t go killing off another character without asking for the player’s permission first. If you do kill off someone for fun, I’ll delete the post.
6 – Do NOT spam, or bully anyone. Spamming refers to pointless posting. It does not stop you from double-post in the case that you’re RPing alone before finding another character, but please be reasonable with the amount of posts, or better yet, edit your post with the additional moves you’ve made. Bullying, however, is a total no.
7 – Romance is fine, but keep it PG-15. If need arises and the people involved want, take it to PMs, and time-skip on the post of the forums to a more appropriate time.
8 – Keep Gaia Online’s Terms of Service in mind, and follow them. This is Gaia territory, after all.
9 – Put the picture of your character in your in-character posts. This makes reading the post less confusing and way quicker. Whether to decorate your posts with more than the picture or not, however, is your choice.
10 – You can have up to 4 characters. But don’t get new characters unless you’re sure you can take care of them all. Also, if you do make more characters, it is good manners not to fill all 4 spaces with characters of the same game/anime/series. Give other people a chance to join the fray with characters from there too.
11 – WRITE! It’s not all that fun to roleplaying with people that post a single line per post. It’s better when you write a lot, and detail your surroundings, actions and character’s feelings, so the person roleplaying with you will feel more comfortable in adjusting to those settings. Plus, it’s nice to read! You don’t need to write an entire novel in one post, but we’re writing together something that might as well be a light novel, right? So write as literate as you can. Thank you very much.

Locations This game will have 5 main cities. Your character may live in any of the five, or somewhere else of your creation, but despite that, most people should guide themselves by these important cities. They are:
Alphani: A city located in South America, extending through the southeastern coast of the country. It is pretty resourceful, and its inhabitants are very fond of the peace they are living right now. The community is pretty much open to strangers and newcomers, and has a decent amount of technology to support its inhabitants’ lives.
Zenia: The city that remained in Africa, located in the center of the country. It doesn’t have a big water supply, but is plentiful in other resources and materials. The city also has top-notch genetic development, and is the home of a great deal of the scientists that worked on the festival project through which the fictional characters were created.
Yokohama: The Japanese city that possessed most survivors after the wars ended became the main city in Japan. The lives of the inhabitants here is comfortable, and it follows the traditions of the “old” Japan, which seemed to endure the tests of time and peace. Their technology is second to none, except on the genetic modification department, where Zenia excels. They are quite closed, and usually resist strangers entering their territory, but once someone settles, he or she is welcome for his entire life on that land.
Brunia: On the southwestern part of North America, slightly above Arizona, a town was founded that reunited most of North America’s survivors after the war, and now it stands as the biggest town in the area. Possesses a fair deal of technology and resources, and every citizen is treated to the best of education, services and medical treatment. Or at least that is what is supposed to happen. The city is pretty elitist, though, and they usually resist newcomers greatly.
Duce: One of the biggest references in this new world, Duce is the greatest city yet in size, extending through a great deal of Europe in mini-cities that are numbered areas between 1 and 13. It doesn’t have many resources or technology, but it is remarkable for being the central where most operations take place, and therefore it possesses a great deal of influence and power. The Chaos World festival was first announced and executed here.
I'd like to add that my choice for locations and cities, as well as description of its inhabitants, do not mean to criticize any culture or real city in any way. I just need to develop them for my setting. Please excuse me.

Disclaimer/Credits
This is a work of a fan. None of the characters presented in this guild are of my creation, and I simply happened to enjoy the work of the people that created most of them. I make no attempt to suggest that I claim any of these characters, even when roleplaying as them. Also, none of the guild members should claim the characters as their own.
All in all, this guild is still pretty empty, so I don't have much to credit. I do want to mention DelarStar, the person who was my inspiration in coming up with this guild, and also the person whose guild layout inspired this one. Thank you very much.
