Custom Information

--- Customs are sometimes available in Mere Myths. For a fee you get to choose everything about the pet you want, including species, gender, stage, colors, and patterns. Different types of customs have different prices.
- Rarer species customs are more expensive than common species.
- Adding line edits (when available) ups the price.
- Adult only stages cost less than fully-growing pets.

--- Some colorists may offer edits to the lines. Things like adding accessories would be more likely than changing the pose of a limb.
- Unique lineart is not available at all unless it is through a rare special event.

--- Because people sometimes have trouble getting a particular custom, low-luck slots will occasionally be available. To qualify for 'low luck' you must have posted your custom in at least five custom threads already and failed to win him or her.
- You'll need links to your posts in five threads to 'prove' this, so try to keep track of them.

Types and General Costs

Random Request

--- These types of customs are probably the most easily affordable. You get to choose one or two colors, a gender, a species, and a stage. The colorist determines everything else. This sort of custom is good for if you have only a vague idea in mind, or if you do not want to wait for a flatsale to get a pet.
- Colors chosen must fit the species. For instance, you may not choose red and purple for a Centaur custom.

Pricing (bear in mind this is intended to help keep rares rare)

Centaur foal-adult: 50k
Centaur adol-adult: 35k
Centaur adult only: 20k

Cervitaur foal-adult: 100k
Cervitaur adol-adult: 85k
Cervitaur adult only: 65k

Unitaur foal-adult: 150k
Unitaur adol-adult: 130k
Unitaur adult only: 115k

Hybrids not available though these

Form - Colorists may have their own versions of this, be sure to use the correct one!

Regular Custom

--- These types of customs are probably the most common of the B/C forums. You get to choose everything about the pet, colors, markings, all that good stuff. This is great for if you have a very specific idea in mind, but you should be descriptive because a colorist is not a mind reader.
- Colors chosen must fit the species. For instance, you may not choose neon green and pink polka dots for a Centaur custom.

Pricing (bear in mind this is intended to help keep rares rare)

Centaur foal-adult: 120k
Centaur adol-adult: 100k

Gift-rolled? yes or no

Special Custom

--- These types of customs are definitely the most expensive, and slots for them may be restricted. You get to choose everything about the pet, colors, markings, just like with a regular custom and edits. This is great for if you have a very specific idea in mind, but you should be descriptive because a colorist is not a mind reader. Edits can be a lot of different things, and the more edits there are/more major an edit is the more expensive the custom becomes.
- Colors chosen must still fit the species. For instance, you may not choose neon green and pink polka dots for a Centaur custom.

Minor edits: Adding accessories such as jewelry that are not overly complex and do not cover much of the 'taur. +5k each (earrings come in pairs)

Moderate Edits: Simple articles of clothing (keep within shop style) or very complex accessories, things that cover a lot of the 'taur, or a different hairstyle. + 15k each

Major Edits: Edits that cover most of the 'taur, very complicated articles of clothing, making the 'taur fluffier/sleeker, new horn/antler designs, +30k each

Extreme Edits: Adding a non-shop animal (a bird, a reptile) to the 'taur, reposing a limb (arm or leg), a new tail. +50k each

Base Pricing (bear in mind this is intended to help keep rares rare)

Centaur foal-adult: 200k + edits
Centaur adol-adult: 150k + edits
Centaur adult only: 125k + edits

Cervitaur foal-adult: 275k + edits
Cervitaur adol-adult: 250k + edits
Cervitaur adult only: 225k + edits

Unitaur foal-adult: 400k + edits
Unitaur adol-adult: 350k + edits
Unitaur adult only: 300k+ edits

Hybrid foal-adult: 500k + edits
Hybrid adol-adult: 450k + edits
Hybrid adult only: 425k + edits

Form - Colorists may have their own versions of this, be sure to use the correct one!

Edits: edits to horns or hair should be listed in those areas, any thing else gets described here. Put each edit in its own line to make it easier to see all of them.

Restrictions and Suggestions

--- Make sure to be specific with what you want! Colorists are not mind readers, and do not have to redo a custom just because you were not specific enough. Be sure you know what you want before you order it.
- Reference images are a good idea if you're looking for a specific design. Even a scribble in MS Paint helps, you do not need to be an amazing artist to make up a reference image.
- Please do not simply color over shop lines are a reference.

--- Do not steal someone else's pet or character design from another shop or site to use them as references. This includes art sites like Deviantart. If you did not create any of the art or concepts you are using, you must have permission to use them. Art theft is never okay.
- This also applies to attempts to get a custom of a pet you own in another shop but did not design yourself . Please get permission from the person that designed it first, most likely the colorist who made it.

--- When a custom has been accepted, chosen, won, or whatever, send a trade to the shop mule with the title: "ColoristName - custom type". This trade will not be accepted until the custom is completed.
- Do not expect the colorist to give you your custom until you've paid.
- Some colorists might not even start working on a custom until the trade has been sent. Time elapse for half-price/free customs does not begin until you have sent the trade.

--- Real life happens to people sometimes. Do not harass the colorist if they do not hand you your custom instantly, though if a custom takes more than a month a polite reminder is allowed. If your custom takes more than one month to complete, the price will be cut in half. If it takes more than three months to complete, the custom is free.
- If it has been four months since a custom was accepted and you have not heard from the colorist, PM the shop mule and we'll take care of it.
