That was a huge bag of WTH. She didn’t just throw herself at him, she practically consumed him. And poor little Shuichi was like a frightened little field mouse who suddenly found himself in the jaws of a cat. “Please spit me out again, I’m tiny.” That was one hell of an emotional scene afterwards. I can’t help but wonder if Shuichi is throwing away something he’ll ever see again. Could he ever find a girl who could love him and accept him the way Soari does?
It was also interesting to revisit earlier dialogue of Anna, a girl who Shuichi later falls in love with, calling Shuichi a weakling and saying she has no interest in him. It seems she has changed that opinion. But the later chapters Shuichi looks like he’s putting all his emotional eggs in one basket, confessing his love for Anna. It could be disastrous decision.
If Shuichi is going to find true love, he needs to dress up as a girl and get his a$$ to a cosplay convention where there are girls who appreciate that kind of thing.
