I've been reading a lot by him recently, and I have been enjoying myself.
He tells the stories in a clear, concise way that makes me want to read more, and not completely boring me out of my skull.
For example: His short story collection Nightmares and Dreamscapes had a story in it. It was the first one in the book, in fact. It was called Dolan's Cadillac.
The story revolved around a teacher who wanted revenge on a man named Dolan. Dolan had killed his wife, and the man wanted to kill Dolan as payback.
He devised a plan to do it.
This story was a good twenty or thirty pages long, and most of the description was vivid and the events were logical.
At times, it droned on, but it kept me reading.
Now, I know people have different opinions on him, so I was going to ask you: What do you think of Stephan King?
Post what you think, why you think that, and your favorite book by him (If you happen to have one.)
