Yes you read the title right. Every month there will be two new precolored cats (and hopefully dogs in the future) that any member of the guild can grab, cert, and play with.
But there is a catch. Just one. In order to take one of a month's freebie familiar, and you only get one per month, you must have a roleplay completed that month. It does not need to start in that month, but it does need to end in that month. This ensures that each month will have a different RP to be turned in for a familiar.
Example. A roleplay that you finished in March can be turned in for March's familiar. You start another one in March, and finish it in April. That can be turned in for April's familiar if you want another one.
The RP must either be a minimum of 10 posts (5 per person) or 1000 words (for SRPs) to be counted. You may only turn in 3 SRPs in a row for freebie familiars, the point of this is to help encourage roleplaying with your characters, even if you don't have any 'pets' yet. Roleplaying with your human character is rewarded just as much as playing a centaur or other mythological pet from the shop would be. In fact, these were designed with human characters in mind, so that even non-pet-owners can have shiny lines to put in their journals.
Simply fill out the form and post it here so the shop can keep track of who is taking advantage of these. And be SURE to put them in here as well if you intend to use them for anything.
More than one person can have the same freebie familiar. If person A takes the colored option 1, person B can take 1 if they want it, and person C is welcome to choose option 1 as well.

MONTH ONE EXCEPTION - For the first month of the shop's opening, and the first month ONLY you may use an approved character form to trade for a familiar. This is mainly because in month 1 I do not think that everyone will have proper time to complete a RP. After the first month ends this exception will disappear and all will require RPs.
