#2 Rule! - Keep it friendly. Drama is nice when IN CHARACTER. Outside of roleplays, it is just not cool. If you are having a problem discuss it privately. If you cannot solve it on your own, PM the guild mule if you must, but this is a no drama zone dramallama


General Forum Rules

1 - Check to be sure you are posting in the correct forum. Journals go in a specific place, character applications go in another... Plot recruitment threads go in the OOC (out of character) Stuff forum, posts in RP forums should be in character.

2 - When posting threads please title them appropriately. Include [OOC] if it is an out of character thread. [PRP] if it is a private, or closed, roleplay. [ORP] if it is a roleplay anyone can join.

3 - When in an IC (in character) thread, if you must talk out of character use brackets or something to indicate that you are not in character.

4 - Some forums may be reserved for specific character types. Please do not post in places where your character does not belong. Other places may not be friendly towards your particular character (ie: A human wanders into a tribe's territory) and there may be IC consequences if you do not pay proper attention.

5 - Please do NOT PM a colorist/mod unless invited to do so. Always PM questions to the shop mule (MereMyths).

Role playing Rules

1 - Your character MUST be approved before you can roleplay them. The Character Creation forum has all the information you need to create your character. Mods will look over and approve them, or give suggestions for improvement, as quickly as possible. This is to prevent Mary Sues and to help keep track of characters in the shop. The form is simple, and it is fairly easy to get approved.

2 - If your character is approved please do not spontaniously change their entire personality right after. Character growth and development is super awesome, character 180 personalities for no apparent reason, less than awesome.

3 - IC actions will have IC consequences! If your character murders someone, then there is going to be a problem. If your character steals the queen's favorite lapdog, there is going to be a problem. Basically if your character hurts another character in any way, do not expect for your character to be able to get away without harm - the other player has every right to retaliate.

4 - Here's a courtesy rule because drama out of roleplay is rotten. Please don't ditch plots without warning, ignore people, manipulate other people's characters, assume other people's characters will respond a certain way, and so on and so forth. Honestly, if this rule is ever invoked I will be shocked. Let's be mature people, please.

5 - This world is set in an alternate universe past-type setting. No one is walking around with a cellphone or driving a Ferrari. Please check up on world information before hailing a taxi or chatting about a television show or something.

6 - More rules can be added if needed.

Role Playing Examples

Right
Ikol looked over the various trinkets and treasures he had deviously and cleverly hoarded. He was certain that someone would be interested in something he had to offer. Whether it was his material goods...or the information he had 'acquired' while out collecting them. The question was, who would be the highest bidder? Who indeed. Pondering, he let his sly green eyes wander over the streets. Perhaps one of the other merchants would be interested in what he was offering. Yes, he knew just who would be willing to meet his price, and then some.
