That's all I can open with. OMG. It's the big crash and bang moment. The climax of the comic. THE defining moment. Everything pretty much goes downhill from here. In chapter 65 Shuichi Nitori decides to show up to school wearing a girl's uniform.
The anime is hugely fast-forwarding the story jumping from chapters in the 20's where it started and all the way to chapter 65. If you look up most of the poignant fanart of Hourou Musuko most artists choose to interpret that moment, here's an excellent example.

Unfortunately the recording is somewhat ruined by this crawler scrolling across the bottom of the screen. Maybe this recording was made during the earthquake and that scroller is a warning, but it doesn't look like one. But that aside, this s the episode you have to see.
It's kind of a downer because once Shuichi is outed before the world and his parents he withdraws from cross dressing. Dissapointing especially when you consider Shuichi's parents reaction was definitely far from harsh. If anything Shuichi's father was kind of awesome. I think Shuichi's parents refrain from coming down on him so hard because they think he's so fragile. He does dabble in dressing here and there, but always with an excuse, never for his own reasons of just putting on a dress and going out like he used to.
Since Suichi still hasn't taken up cross dressing in the currently released comics I figure the anime will also have Shuichi withdraw from it as well, unless they want to completely go i their own direction, which animes sometimes do. I guess we'll just have to watch and find out.
