Death by Dyeing is a website dedicated to educating people about the horrors of dying and tattooing fish. I highly encourage everyone to do their own research about this topic, and make know to your friends, chain stores and LFS, ect, about what these fish go through, and boycot any that do sell them! Over 80% of the dyed and tattooed fish die from this process, and the survivors have very shortened and sickly lives, just to have the color fade as the fish grows and matures.

This is a fantastic site, I'll be sure to tell people about it. It's so much better than just paraphrasing about why dyeing is such a disgusting practice.

It really is gross. Its all about one thing, too: money. They dont care about the wellfare of the fish, just that they can charge that extra $0.50 for one with a heart on it scream
