(Note: Albel is actually a Draconis, though I haven't remade him yet, for we do not have those lines. Also note: This is pre Windchaser. He's still a b*****d here.)In the petrified woods skulked Albel as he recalled how much he loathed his children. Snorting in disgust, he lashed his spiked tail about him and smirked out at the expanse of stone wasteland before him, taking pride that he was strong enough to survive here, scathing thoughts about his dead ex-mate and children's weakness at the forefront of his mind. It was a shame, none of them had turned out Draconic, and none of them had his cruelty. Such a waste that he would have to bring others to their knees on his own, and eliminate them all. A soft rustling nearby drew his attention away, and his jowls curled up in a simle sickeningly sweet as syrup.
Prancing around the precarious mountainside, Strawberry taunted the only sibling she ever had any fun with, who was clamboring after her. "Come on Maxx!" she snarled impatiently to egg him on, doing a little jump in one circle, her pupilless eyes shimmering in the sunlight. A little bored, she picked up one of her paws, only to notice that the pad on it was bleeding. Doing nothing but shrug it off and smile, she began to lick the wound before a better idea struck in her mind. Taking a swipe down at her brother, the blood flew towards him instead, and the puppy began to giggle before scabbling up the rest of the way. Pine trees awaited her on the other side, but after those was a bleak meadow of stone. She paused for a moment to stare in awe, at complete unawares of her brother.

Maxx jumped after his sister, the small spikes on his tail starting to poke out from inder the furr. He Couldn't wait till his tail was fully developed and he could wack at his siblings. "Strawberry, you taste delicious" He said licking at the blood with a wicked smile on his face. He stopped next her her and glanced back, the further they were away from mommy and daddy the better. "I think when we can we should mvoe up here, its much more morbid"

Yes, yes! The scrabbling of claws against stone. And, sure enough, when he swung his maw, he saw a shape slipping down the side into the canyon. But then a gust of wind blew a familiar scent into his nostrills. What? No, no..the scent of his daughter? Not possible. She shouldn't still be alive after the injuries he'd left her with. Let alone with children. But still, his nose didn't change the scent. Growling in agitation, he decided that if it was unfortunate enough for her to have bred, he'd dispose of Ashy's children swiftly. Less mongrels to deal with later.
It was obvious the pink puppy wasn't listening to her brother. Instead, though while she may have agreed with him, she bapped him upside the head with her paw, "shut up!" Squinting into the distance as she prowled down the slope, "I hear something." and indeed she did. A metalic clicking. Metallic. What? Then she saw him. A brown wolf - if that's what he was - with spikes, blond fringe, and black along his back like Maxx. She had to do a double take, looking from Maxx to her grandfather. "Maxx. Get over here..." there was only a hint of worry in her tone, and that irritated her. She snarled wildly at it, determined to prove nothing could scare her, and she could kill everything - even a full-grown...whatever her brother was.

Stalking and prowling through the stone, Blood caught several scents. One was of the father he trailed, two of...his sister. She was worthless - nothing like him! Why couldn't she be cruel, like him? Like us. He seethed to himself, watching the not-Ashy smells and perking her ears as he heard the pink one afraid, then get angry with herself. A devilish grin spread across his features.
