In the announcement, it said to put suggestions in the main forum. Hopefully this is the right place, if not, feel free to move it to the proper place.
Anyways, as the announcement said that this guild is being revamped and I have a suggestion to make.
A lot of people like art and don't just want to show if off, but to get some constructive criticism on ways of how to improve. Now Gaia as an art forum but a lot of people are really rude and nasty at times, which makes it a tense environmental for people that are none professionals and just want to have fun and still learn.
My idea is to make an art gallery forum here not only people can show off their work, but get real constructive criticism if they choose. I such the sandwich method where you tell them one thing that you like first, tell them what they can improve on and HOW as in the art forum, they don't always do that and then tell them one more nice thing or just give encouragement. That way, people will not only be more likely to listen, but still feel good about their art and want to keep it up.
What do you guys think?

That's actually a really good idea. I'll go ahead and fix up the art forum so that we have a place to do that.
The same can be said of the fanfiction forum, and I think I had one of the rules be that constructive criticism was fine, but flaming was not.
Anymore suggestions? 3nodding
Also, while the new bar isn't QUITE open yet, go ahead and check it out and send me your info Yuko. I know that you're going to be a regular. 3nodding

Well one suggestion is to make a stick where we can post links to sites that can help for both art and fanfics. I know one friend was really upset because someone took her fic and bashed it and her characters but didn't even tell her what she can do to improve on it. I think a lot of new comers are lost because they don't know what they can do to correct things.
Alright. I realize Yuko for Dansho might not work out for all of the other RPs, so I can change it a bit if you want. Not much different, besides her kekkei genkai (which was making weapons out of ice) and no half sisters. It really doesn't matter which one to use so I'll leave that up to you as you know more about RPs. 3nodding

That's one of the things I was thinking of. I had a linking page for places other than Gaia that people were posted on in the FF sub-forum, and improvement sites are a good idea so that people can get more help.
We'll do the same for cos-play. I know that a lot of people need help there.
The Bar's a casual RP, so I just need a brief personality/ninja style description. Nothing real fancy.
Now for the more serious RP, I'll be asking for a good bit more. 3nodding

For cosplay, I really recommend cosplay.com. Not a perfect place but it has tons of tutorials and useful information. I go there every time I am working on a costume. I learned about wigs, sleeves, etc....because of that site/
Alright, I just PM the basic info right? I'll save all the details for later. I wrote a whole long description for another guild.

LOL that would be kind of funny. As of now, I don't think anyone is RPing or cosplaying as Shikamaru (I personally like him, but that is because I see myself to be a lot like him in some ways. xd ).

It more than likely will after I get back from making dinner and all that jazz. I kinda want OG to look it over before I do (and possibly make a post), but even if he doesn't by the time I get back, I'll open it then. 3nodding

Oh that reminds me. Another suggest is a banner thread. If he wants us to advertise, we need someone who knows how to make banners. I don't know how to make banners where you can click on them and take you to the link, or I would try to make one.
